Finally got that S Rank on Sky Babylon act 2 in Sonic Adventure Rush.

I can't feel my fingers now...
Soooooooooooo, was it um, worth it? :)
Totally...

My thumbs disagree though. Left one feels numb, right one is painfull... :|

I think it took me between 5 and 10 hours to get that bloody S Rank...

I must say, Sonic Rush Adventure really is a great game. A lot of people (me included) always whine how Sega isn't what it used to be. But every once in a while they still shine. This is one of those rare occasions... ^^

This calls for some Sonic music... :P

Smile: Half price books actually had CIB Sega Saturn games today.

Frown: Upon closer inspection, the cases were busted and they were all over priced.

Half Price Books seem to be all over the place with their pricing depending on which store you go to. There was one I went to selling a regular (wood veneer) Atari 2600 with cables, but no box or games for $100. Another one by me regularly sells them for $20.

Half Price Books doesn't have a company wide pricing policy - it's up to whoever runs a specific section / whoever was running the buy counter that day to assign pricing. Some people get it right. Others get it wrong. They do, however, review pricing on all merchandise quarterly and if it's been on the shelf more than three months, they start discounting.

So eventually Half Price Books always gets the prices right.

Smile: Flight school, got a refund for the gimped Saturn I got.

Frown: Regular school is a lot less exciting than flight school.

This is why you should always check out the clearance section in Half Price Books. I've gotten some decent imported games for less than a buck and about 30 Atari games for a 25 cents each because they had all been sitting around too long.

You don't have any sort of used book and media store in your area?

Frown: Damn but this Troy Davis thing is bothering the shit out of me. I am a supporter of the death penalty but only in instances where the case has been so thoroughly vetted that there is absolutely not a shred of doubt. If there is any room for mistake, the case needs to be vetted further or the sentence commuted.

I don't know all the particulars of Troy Davis' case but from what I've read I have trouble seeing ANY physical evidence conclusively linking him to the murders. I don't know if Georgia executed a man who wasn't guilty of the crime he'd been convicted of...but I keep feeling like justice failed last night.

Indeed. Part of the blurb here made me rather upset last night. I'm pretty good at reading if someone is good or a jerk and that is not the face of a killer IMHO. :(
