he's not kidding. My license says I'm 5'5" and I'm pretty sure they were just being nice.

How tall are you without shoes Noise? One of my best friends (Brand-x, I'm sure I've mentioned him hundreds of times) is around 5'3-ish.
Ripley and I celebrating our 14th St.Patrick's Day together:

Aren't we cute?
Believe it or not, that's an official sweater, fight strap and all. Sucker weighs a ton but breathes like you wouldn't believe.
And the party officially starts in about an hour. Corned beef is in the oven, soda bread is ready to go in as well, the potatoes are about to start'a'brasinin', and the cabbage will start steaming in a half hour or so.
Party on O'Wayne, Party on O'Garth.

Do all US States include your height on your license? Are there talks of the US adopting metric ever?
My best friend is 6"4 (again if my conversions are right), my neck hurts after a night out haha.
I am 5'7" (if my metric to imperial is right), I am tall by my (mostly) Italian families standards.I'm 5'6" or 5'7" with the right shoes, which is short by most standards. I'd say about 90% or more of my guy friends are taller than me (noise being an obvious exception).

That was Dave and me at PAX last year though I am 6'3, we were probably quite the motley duo.emwearz wrote:Do all US States include your height on your license? Are there talks of the US adopting metric ever?

Less about you and Dave, more about how handsome I am.
My Father is a bit over 6'5", and when in Chicago, he gets mistaken for Phil Jackson more than you would think.
Something I'll never forget is meeting Walter P., thinking the guy would be a giant, He was a dwarf compared to my Pops. After saying to my Father "I thought Walter would be ten feet tall" he said, "Let that be a lesson". Great words of wisdom. I could imagine kids thinking Barry S. also being a giant, but not so. Determination can't be put into height.

I saw Walter as a kid - not huge, but cut to shreds through his t-shirt. Barry was what, 5'6" sure, but his thighs are still thicker than your midsection.
I'll tell you who I wouldn't have previously thought would be physically imposing - Brad Johnson, saw him at the MSP airport about 6-7 years ago. 6'4", thick neck, really long and toned arms. Looks pasty and spaghetti like on TV, looks like a brick craphouse in person.

I'm 5'6" and the one time I met Barry he was probably a couple inches taller than me and yes his thighs were massive. This was at least 5 years after he retired.

Barbra Eden.
So cute, so very very tiny.
I'll leave it at that.

Speaking of, I forever love that picture you posted of yourself reaching for something on a high shelf. Not sure which thread that's in.
...probably this one, actually.
