I'm just playing around wit'cha guys.

I have exactly no DLC for any game. Expansion packs? Sure. For Doom 3 I bought "The erection of evil" or something like that. It was basically a minigame. I wouldn't count it on my list, but the thing about this page is that you are welcome to make your list the way you want to.

we've had this conversation like 30 times, but a lot of modern "DLC" is straight up expansions that can be full games in their own right lasting dozens of hours.

See, that's the cool thing about the ones I've been playing. Most of them have been full length games in their own right. F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate was about the same length as the original F.E.A.R., ran alongside the plot of it and the first expansion, and offered bonus missions afterward for more replayability. Mysteries of the Sith was a full-length expansion played mostly as Mara Jade, while the Quake II expansions were about half as long as the original game but offered way more challenge with some new and nasty enemies. It all really depends on the expansion.

Conversely, I tend not to go back and replay much when I finish, so of the 40 games on my list, only two were things I had ever beaten before this year. I like the freshness of it all.

I know we've had this discussion before. I like pointing out why I like this thread. You can use save states, emulators, cheats, whatever...It's about beating a game.

I dunno man, Street Fighter II and Golden Axe are actually retro games so I don't expect them to pop up in many lists here.

Seriously though, I think we're all guilty of things that make others scratch their heads. My list is huge because I play tons of old (and short) arcade and Atari games. That's just how I roll. (Though apparently I haven't posted an update here in 3 weeks, which is odd).

It sure ain't easy. I got past the first level, then proceeded to fail about 20 straight times on the next one. :( Of course, I was using a keyboard (at work), so that might be part of the problem.

I appreciate you giving it a shot. Well it's a roguelike platformer, so it is intentionally difficult. If you can beat five stages in a row without dying more than 30 times, feel free to post Indomitable Infiltrator in your games beaten list here.
