It's easy and lazy satire that some people think is hilarious. "Hey! Look at me! I'm all goofy in this Christmas sweater!".

Those people can choke on their disgusting bailey's cream.

Plus years ago it became a trend to mail out "Look at our family in these stupid sweaters! Aren't we clever?" photos. Those fuckers can also choke on whatever gluten-free food they're eating.

Now cool Christmas sweaters actually exist, but are rare. I saw one "Christmas sweater" that was basically a frame from Empire Strikes Back on the 2600 (speeder vs. an ATAT).

Making fun of dorks by looking like a dork makes you a dork.

We don't buy fake snow, but pretty much everything else hits the nail on the head. Robert Earl Keen is future me.

Never got Christmas sweaters. Nobody I knew even did the sweater thing until the last 5 years or so when the intentionally ugly sweater thing took off.

It's always like 40 degrees Celsius here on Christmas day... So in my family it's best spent on the back patio drinking beer and eating turkey.
Last year I bought a blow up pool, so instead of the patio I was in that.

I'm not religious at all, and none of my family is. But, it is the one of the few times a year we all get together so I'm happy about that aspect.

Smile: This thread is back!

Frown: Work has an extremely strict no worker relationships policy. Gotta keep things on the down low for another 17 days till I leave.

Ticked: I just can't find any musical inspiration lately. Guess I'll just keep trying to learn how to play piano well.
