I got a ton of games yesterday across different used game stores. I'm curious about a Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball SNES cartidge I got for $7.50. It has one of those "Not For Resale - Demo Game Only - Property Of Nintendo" stickers on the back that has a few of the letters faded out (although I thought it was a stamp at first). I tried it out and it looks like it plays just like a normal Ken Griffey Presents cart (I've never actually played Ken Griffey Presents before). Is there any difference between a KGPMLB demo cartridge and a regular one besides a sticker on the back? I know some other SNES demo carts has the "Not For Resale" notice on the front instead of the back.

No doubt, also one of the very rare cases where it wasn't an even one for people to debate, they got annoyingly political on it but the beats are still solid.

raz: Not bad, not bad at all there. As it's a NFS it gains value, some get a lot, some little, but since we're coming off a $5 sports title, I think that one is worth around $20-25 which isn't bad. Same game, it just was a cart they stuffed into a sealed kiosk at stores. It may be worth a little less or not off that $20 mark only because someone could have easily swapped the back from another game, but being a low value sports title the odds of shenanigans are far lesser than say a Mario based one or something popular.

By the way I don't recall, did I ever mention finding the Prima Dragon Warrior III guide for $20 locally? (GBC version) It's standard right on the $35 mark (plus shipping) so I was thrilled to get it. I quit looking for one over a year ago as it had been riding higher around $40-50 and I wasn't having any of that. :) Just need to find the DW1+2 GBC guide now to get myself covered.

Oh and CRT I forgot to mention this. GOOD eye and good taste with Little Nemo there. That movie is a true classic, I remember seeing it back in the day, pretty sure in the theater too. I keep an eye out for it but never see it locally or I'd snap it up. Wonder if they ever blu-ray'd it (I'll look after this.) I have something really special though with Nemo. I had looked for this casually for a decade locally (both states I was in at the times) and only just found this a year ago. Timing was on my side, Half Price was ripping off at $70 for it but the day it went out, was the time I could put a 7day hold for their 50% off coupon sale. :D https://www.amazon.com/Little-Nemo-1905 ... 3822863009

Little Nemo: 1905-1914 (Evergreen) Hardcover – April 1, 2000 by Winsor McCay (Author)

Very hard to come by without paying up for it, and it's like an inch and a half thick, hardback only very heavy. It's a fantastic run of all the Nemo works in order in that thing and it's an amazing read and view with the old style comic drawings.

There is an NES Game as well though I have not bought it, a side scroll platformer.

Every once in a while I do a search for the books myself, trick is to get the good prints at a decent price. I think your link is one of the better editions. The art is amazing even more so when you consider it is from the 1900s! Did you see the link in my previous Reply? The entire series online that can be right clicked saved. I went a step further, saved all the HTML Pages and edited the pointers to load all the JPGs off the sub folders.

Yeah I clicked it and looked briefly, lines up with my heavy book I have here.

I'm aware of Little Nemo the Dream Master, my brother owned it back in the day and I used it some, a few laters year when I got into grabbing up NES stuff around '95 or so I picked it up and I've had it off and on since as the pile of games adds up or falls off. I could see probably owning it again some day if I got back into the NES enough to merit it as it's fantastic. It's a totally under the radar Capcom title that's really well made.

Did you guys know that Windsor McCay practically invented the art of animation as we know it today? Look up "Gertie the Dinosaur," "How a Mosquito Operates," and the first animated, "Little Nemo" from 1911. Flipping Genius!

The JPG Scans have the advantage of zooming in for scrutiny, there is so much "Where's Waldo" detail to discover. Okay now you are tempting me to search out that game! Been a fan of Windsor McCay artwork for decades.

I had downloaded all the pages as well as various history articles. Edited the front page HTML adding in the Article subfolders and can read every comic page offline. The JPGs can all easily be thrown in a folder for picture slide show view, pause and zoom to read. There is also a captured video Gertie DVD online (not mine) though you can see the early animation via YouTube.

Check out the Comics Archive, has all the Little Nemo Comic pages indexed for an easy search and read.

Comics Archive Little Nemo - http://www.comicstriplibrary.org/browse/results?title=2&page=1

Wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winsor_McCay

Though I have all the pages downloaded for off line reading, the posts here finally made me take the plunge in buying the book Tanooki mentioned. Not a Video Game Find, but mentioned here due to the related replies.

Found a pristine copy online! Seller letting it go due to owning a larger book, look at that shine!
Little-Nemo-Complete-Works-1905-1914-HC-2000-Evergreen-first-edition - $45 Ebay ($6.08 Shipped)
“Like new with dust jacket in protective mylar cover. Never read.” "Little Nemo in Slumberland" published in 2000 by Evergreen Books and containing all of Winsor McCays strips in color from 1905-1914. The 434-page book weighs almost 5.5 pounds. This copy is like new. I have never read it, and the dust jacket is protected by a mylar sleeve. The page are 10x13 inches and nicely colored. There is an introduction by comics researcher Bill Blackbeard. I am selling this only because I have purchased the Taschen "Little Nemo," collection which is in an even-larger format.

I knew about Gertie.

And $45 for that with $6 shipping is very fair considering at $6 shipping at 5.5lbs for the book by itself, he's eating the price a good bit more.

Suspect the Media Shipping route, hope the pristine book arrives safely. I may start looking into that Mylar Option for some of my hard cover books on the shelf.
