Scored a big bag of old PC stuff for free at work yesterday, mostly CD-ROMs from the 90s. Amongst a bunch of old almanacs and encyclopedias (ENCARTA 95, BITCHES) were some pretty sick games. Off the top of the dome:
Battle Chess
Hellcab
King's Quest VII
Sam & Max Hit The Road
A couple Carmen Sandiego joints
Some others I can't remember, will edit later, maybe...
Sadly, there were manuals for Descent and SimCity 2000, but no discs.
EDIT - Also including:
Star Wars Rebel Assault
This thing
3D Ultra Pinball
Terminal Velocity
Inca II
Star Rangers
Corridor 7: Alien Invasion
Eraser - Turnabout
POD
Jane's US Navy Fighters 97
Star Trek DS9: The Fallen & Dominion Wars (both sealed)
More than I originally thought. Some I'm familiar with, others not so much. Either way, free stuff!

BATTLECHESS!
Loved every different version of that game. Various ports had unique animations.

One of my best drawings as a wee lad was partly inspired by Battle Chess. I did a massive chess board come to life. It got me a first place ribbon at the regional arts festival in my age bracket, anyway.
Of course, my brother always did one better than me. He got two best-in-shows from there. He's got a ton of talent, and he's kept practicing way more than I have. Pretty sure he could go into comics if he wanted to.
I haven't played chess in years, though. I used to do a lot of that, too!

Half Price up the street has a lot of bigbox stuff in since I was last there. All the C&C games from the original through tiberian sun, both star craft and brood war(I bought those), age of empires 2 and expansion, half life and half life GOTY version, various others and they were all in that $6-10 range which was a nice surprise.

One of the "better" LD games,

I had been looking to delve a bit further into the Laserative game library. But there really is not much there. Maybe if I can afford couple more, and most probably that will be it for me.

I played this back in my Win98 days. It's a futuristic racer in the style of F-Zero. I recall liking it a lot, but that may be nostalgia goggles. I only had three PC games at the time: Myst, POD, and Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing. Naturally POD became my second favorite PC game for that time.
Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
No doubt man, I got Mavis Beacon in this bag too.

awesome grab-bag, dood. I love weird old PC finds like that.
Also: I didn't realize that Battle Chess is on GOG. That's cool.

Though not Laseractive, look for Wii Dragons Lair. I own the original Dragons Lair Laser Disc which can be viewed on my Laser Disc Player; the Wii version has much sharper imagery.
