Oh yeah, Condemned was the first game I owned on the 360. I got the console in anticipation of Dead Rising and bought Condemned just to have something to play, and I ended up loving it more than DR. I also had funny experience with it, where I beat it and went back to collect the last of the metal piece and dead birds before realizing that I was playing it with the brightness turned down as dark as possible. It became a lot easier to see when I set it to where it was supposed to be!Exhuminator wrote:I played and finished the first The Suffering. I thought it was a lot of fun, very violent gameplay and genuinely creepy at times. Granted these memories are from 2004, I don't know how well it has aged. One last recommendation, Condemned: Criminal Origins is genuinely worth playing, if you haven't yet.Ack wrote:Do you have any experience with The Suffering series? What are you playing?

Condemned was totally awesome. A shame the second game kind of fell short on a few parts (and the story), but it was still fun. Another installment would have been cool, but Monolith doesn't seem to be in good shape thesedays. I want more FEAR too (by them again, I didn't really care for the WB developed FEAR 3)
Re: What are you playing?
Decided to boot up my nes again, so I'm play bugs bunny birthday blowout. This is actually a pretty good game, I just suck when I get to the second part of the desert stages...maybe today will be different?

I just popped in Ivy The Kiwi for the Wii. Man, this game is freakin' cute and pretty fun too. I picked this one up months ago at a Gamestop for around $8 or so. I had heard it's somewhat of a hidden gem so I nabbed it immediately. Glad I did!

I'm taking a break from Fire Emblem: Awakening (reached 75 hours getting levels in different classes on the dlc exp map). Now I'm continuing my replay of Final Fantasy IV. I say replay as I beat the DS version but I'm currently playing the complete version on the PSP for the first time.

A little Persona 4 here and there. About halfway through that one.
BioShock Infinite is turning out far better than expected. Love it to death.
I'm going to work on F1 2013 a bit more next week.
DanganRonpa 2 has to wait until I finish Persona 4. I can only handle one 20+ hour game at a time really.
Probably going to play through the Half Life series again once I finish BioShock Infinite. Really in an FPS mood lately.

Re: What are you playing?
I bought Pushmo World off the eShop and played that entire too much the first day.
When I tried to use my computer, I would stop and get confused if pressing a key on my keyboard would be the wisest first action, as the squares on the screen could become inaccessible.
That hasn't happened since, I guess my brain absorbed the information.

I tried to get into GTAV again I really did. Tried twice now, and it's just the same feeling I had when I gave GTAIV a shot: "why am I playing this?"
I don't know what it is. Maybe the setting is just too grounded in reality for my taste. It just seems like the series sells millions of copies based on the "haha you can run over and shoot anyone you want" phenomenon from when the series first went to 3D.
I mean, the intro was ok. You shoot your way out of a heist involving all 3 characters. Then you steal cars with your friend and race him for no apparent reason. Then the cops catch on and you have to out run them. Then you go home and I just don't care. I did unlock the ability to go to the barber shop and change my hair style at that point though.....

Not digging Castlevania Lords of Shadow at all. You have to play so perfectly by the script... or else! Eh. It sure is pretty I guess...
