I just got Bleach: Dark Souls for the DS. I got the first Bleach DS game back in January and to be honest I hadn't realised there was a sequel, which most people agree is bigger and better, so I picked it up when I saw it cheap. I like these games because they kind of feel like spiritual successors to Yu Yu Hakusho on the Mega Drive (both are developed by Treasure).
January 2024:
February 2024:
March 2024:
April 2024:
May 2024:
L.O.L. Lack of Love (Dreamcast)
Worms 4: Mayhem (PS2)
Driver San Francisco (PS3)
Rage (PS3)
Duke Nukem 64 (N64)
Gex (Saturn)
Mega Man X (SNES)
F-Zero (SNES)
World Driver Championship (N64)
Bleach: Dark Souls (DS)

Thanks for the heads up on this, Syndicate! I had a tough time finding a copy, so will probably grab it from here.
Edit: VGP is only shipping to Canadian addresses, but the Behemoth store has copies available again too. I was able to order one from there!

Hey, the forum just changed!
Slave Zero X came out today for Switch and PS5 and my copy arrived. I rarely pre-order games these days, but this one appealed to me. It's a bizarre and unexpected prequel to Slave Zero, which was a fairly average third person shooter/action game released in 1999 for the Dreamcast and PC. I swear no one was asking for a new game in this universe, but here we are.
Slave Zero X is instead a 2D sidescrolling hack n slash / beat em up, so it plays nothing like the original game, which is probably a good thing. Still weird though.
Thanks to the forum member who posted about it and made me aware. I can't remember who it was now sorry.

It was me! My copy arrives this weekend. I’ve read that the game is awesome, but apparently, the Switch version performs very poorly.

It was recently patched, though, and I’m hopeful that improves the performance a bit.

Thank you! The game looks awesome.
Oh no about the Switch version though!
I nearly bought the PS5 version, but figured it would be a fun game to play on a handheld and I thought performance wouldn't be an issue. I guess I could always pick up a PS5 copy on sale some time if patches don't result in much improvement.
Which version did you order? I'll try it later and let you know what I think.

I got the Switch version too!
Let me know when you give it a shot. As we’ve noted elsewhere in the forums, there are very few post-patch reviews, and some reviews, IMO, factor performance too much into their overall evaluation. (Ghostrunner almost grinds to a halt on the Switch, but I still loved it.)

I played through the first level earlier and there were no issues whatsoever. It looks and plays great. However, I did see in a couple of reviews that the framerate issues start after you beat the first boss, which I haven't got to yet.
I checked out the patch information and there was one on the 10th May, but unfortunately it seems from the notes that it didn't do anything to improve performance.
I agree that some reviews do factor performance too much into their evaluation. I don't mean to excuse shoddy ports and performance issues, but sometimes I still find games enjoyable that suffer from them. Maybe it's because I spend a disproportionate amount of time playing old retro games, that often have terrible framerates

It's funny to me how big a deal people make of performance issues, I think it's another indicator of a person's age. I'm not saying it's okay to have low expectations of developers, but I grew up at a time when games regularly had slowdown and flickering, and I still enjoyed many of those games. This was normal for NES era kids.
