I agree to an extent. Obscure can be fun but overly obscure makes it less likely more people will join in on the fun and then you have the same few people taking over the topic, excluding many others.marurun wrote:I'll admit, sometimes the really obscure stuff does feel a little less fun...

I personally kind of like learning about these obscure games. Although, I might not be the norm since I also find a lot of obscure stuff to be fun haha.marurun wrote:I'll admit, sometimes the really obscure stuff does feel a little less fun...

Every submission has been guessed so far. I don't think we're in "overly obscure" territory.Segata wrote:but overly obscure makes it less likely more people will join in on the fun
You shouldn't setup a challenge and then get disheartened when your fellow participants take it up a notch. Git gud.

I'm gonna make this fun for everyone. This should be really easy.
It's on PC.
It was released in the last few years.
Iiterally everyone has played it.
There might be a clue in the file name if you put it in a hex editor, I don't know.

One of those hints is a red herring. The other one is false.
Let me know when you want more hints. I'm pretty sure they'll be needed.
