I'm definitely holding off on SFV for right now. I don't have enough folks to play (i.e. none), and the single-player content is waaaay too light. Even though they're going to make things available via DLC, I'd be shocked if they didn't do a retail run at some point that bundles some of the DLC with it.

It looks pretty cool, though, and I'm already a fan of the series. I just don't prioritize the fighters like I used to.

Yeah, I'm actually not a fighter gamer at all... but recently I've been enjoying them, for some reason. Even though I suck at them. I just buy a lot of the JPN ones because they're cheap, require no Japanese knowledge, and they're a good way to beef up a new collection.

I really don't mind the single player content (or lack of) in SFV. I really don't bother with that, outside of practice and the odd arcade mode run.

I consider myself good, but not amazing. I don't put in the kind of time that would be necessary to be that good. I believe I could get there, but I've got way too many games I want to play to delve that deep into one.

How are people getting that game already? It's not supposed to come out until Friday, but I've had several people tell me that they already bought it in stores (Best Buy is mainly what I'm hearing, but their website still says pre-order, not buy it now).

I saw it in Walmart last week. When I went this morning it was still there, nicely stocked, next to two empty slots that are ready to house the Fire Emblem games.

It looks like Nintendo changed the release date to yesterday. I swear to God, it was supposed to come on the 19th, not the 16th. Or maybe Vance County has finally driven me insane and I've lost all ability to differentiate between fantasy and reality. Not sure. Maybe I should ask the talking lemur living in my guest room?
