Thats a great score man, especially since I know you do not use savestates. I was only able to jump up so quickly from massive save practice.

I notice you didn't go for the chain requirement. Did you go for bees, or did you hold the max bomb bonus a lot?

My scoring basically went:

Stage 2: Entire Focus on full chain, chain to about 480
Stage 3: Hold max bomb for entire stage, take advantage of bullet cancels, no chaining
Stage 4: Hold on to bomb bonus, very mild chaining.

From there, I pretty much would start bombing a lot, because I had not yet looped it. I want to start learning stage 4 chaining though. Stage 3, I just don't think the points it gives you are worth learning to chain it (at least for me) over learning stage 4.

One of my goals this year is to clear this game. Its probably not likely, but I'm going to try anyways

Cleared the first loop on the PS1 version 8) . Finished off the boss on my last life with my last bomb. Didn't make the 2nd loop thanks to the wacky PS1 chaining. Even on Stage 5 I could barely scrape together a 200 chain...

Final Score: 36,064,650 - Max Hit 203
