@noise - do you feel like you are playing epic-ly good at this game? Maybe this game is just your bag? I felt like a I had a super run last night - hit 167,480.

So, how do you think your doing, in contrast to how you've done on other shmups?

...it's possible it's running a little slower on PS2. I'll have to go back and try to compare screen-to-screen I guess. (Do you think that would ramp up the score that much though?) Other than that -- I just don't know. Youtube players seem to be doing what I'm doing. But I end up with a big giant score for some reason?

I still think your rom is iffy. Can you email it to me, and I'll give it a go?

lol, now I think it must be your emulator. The rom seems fine to me. Do you have some kind of cheat turned on, perhaps unknowingly?

I am pretty sure the scores you are getting aren't physically possible given how far you are getting in the game.

I die pretty quick, and you can't even see the full screen (or full score) but I just wanted you guys to tell me if the speed looked right to you?

I'm using PGen emulator, which is the most well-known/stable PS2 Gen emulator. I don't have any cheats or whatever enabled -- in fact, I don't even know how to do that cuz I'm not interested in cheating on games.

I don't know what to tell you guys. I guess I'm done playing cuz I can't seem to figure out HOW to play and feel like it's fair.

I watched your video, but it isn't shot so that we can see all digits in the score, extra lives piling up, etc. Want to give it another go so we can see the whole screen at once?

To be honest it's kind of stopping being fun to me now. I just want to play the game with you guys. Not troubleshoot the emulator or ROM...
