mjmjr25's Gameroom - Walkthrough of Lower Level (pics) 2.14
Re: mjmjr25's Gameroom - NEO GEO MVS Added 5.1.13
Very nice collection man. I see you don't have Lufia & The Fortress of Doom or Lufia II: Rise of the Sinstrals. Both are SNES RPGs. I highly recommend at least the 1st one; as the 2nd is actually a prequal.

I was that way for quite awhile and as soon as I got my cabs I sold my Sigma AV7000. Shortly thereafter I had regrets because I really enjoyed the convenience of being able to play my arcade games anywhere in the house (or out of the house for that matter).fastbilly1 wrote:The issue to me is that a supergun is to me like having a MAME cab. If I am going to spend that much for an arcade game, I want to play it like an arcade game. My wife is ok with getting one (1) candy cab, so I am looking for a good condition Astro city.
I've since boughten (2) Sigma Raijins and with a couple of my setups, it is essentially a cab, everything is legit arcade parts (save the monitor, but on any decent CRT, it looks very close and of course you can get scanline generators) - these aren't those ugly vogatek or hodgepodge superguns, these have everything all in one, just like a cab, and are quite attractive - yet portable. I swear by them and like I said, I play on them as often as candies, and lately more.

Man those are some really sexy shock boxes with custom art! It's like my 120 in 1 MVS cart and then some has come to life and made it way onto your shelves! Awesome collection!
p.s. what kind of bookshelves are those? are they custom or something purchased? They seem to hold a great number of games perfectly and don't look cheap at all!

Thanks, bro. As you know, I had a layout in mind and wanted each shelf to be specific, PS3 / 360 / PC-Printer-Keyboard, so the shelves fit everything specifically, and are the right height for each systems respective games - gives the consoles room to ventilate, but not wasting space...noiseredux wrote:dood, that entertainment center is legit. What was involved in grafting on that candy style CP to your tetris cab? I've been thinking about replacing the cp in a generic cab of mine to accept an Astro City style cp.
One cause they look awesome and two, for some of the naomi games like world series baseball and monkey ball that need special control layouts.
I think I know what I have to do, just wondering if you encountered anything unusual or have something you may have done differently.

I meant to ask the same thing. Can't believe I let the weekend pass without looking at that Tetris cab! Does that mount on there? Or is it just resting on top? I've been wanting to put something together for 6-button games (especially after last weekend) and that seems like an easy way to cut out a lot of work getting a panel to fit.thatdanGguy wrote:What was involved in grafting on that candy style CP to your tetris cab?
