Vectrex anything is expensive, except for (most of) the loose game carts themselves.

You magnificent bastard!
Couldn't have said it better! I own three Vectrex systems and most every game with overlays; just need the lightpen, 3d imager glasses and a couple spare controllers. There is the Sean Kelly multi cart worth searching as well as a couple of home brew carts including the Spinnerama cart that has some of the Vectrex converted for use with a 2600 "Spinner" driving controller. Vectrex is the best for the Vector Cinematronics space games.

Blimey, that is a remarkable collection. Which games do you enjoy most of all?

CRT, if someone breaks into your house and steals your Vectrex collection, it definitely wasn't me. Got it?

Picked up a few things at the flea market up in Ashland today.

First off I bumped into a guy who was unloading his truck kind of late and right as I walked up he was pulling out a Nintendo 64. Apparently someone else was eyeballing it as well and before I could even say a word literally jumped in front of me to grab it

. Thing that pissed me off further was the guy told them he was asking $10 which was a great deal given it was in perfect shape and had two official controllers and all hook ups. However being the cheap fucks they were the people blurted out "will you take five" which he accepted not knowing what he had. Almost jumped in and said something but I didn't want to start a scene. Anyways the cheap bastards were to stupid to look through the rest of his stuff and were in such a rush to walk all of 30 feet away to sell it to a reseller that they completely passed over Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Puzzle League, and Rayman 2 which he priced out to me for $1 each

.
Honestly I don't so much mind that they snagged the system before I got a chance at it, but it does piss me off that they clearly knew they were getting a great deal and yet felt the need to take further advantage of the guy by knocking his already low asking price in half. The way I feel is haggling is fine if the price isn't to amazing or you are bundling stuff, but if you clearly know it's a stellar deal don't screw people over for a few bucks

.
Other than that I picked up a few extra cables a s-video, HDMI, and standard power cable for $2, a component signal splitter/amp for $5 which can split 1 signal to 12 or 2 to 6, and finally a sealed Game Gear Magnifier for $2.
Sadly the Component splitter is missing the power supply and the official ones go for $99+

. If anyone can tell me what type of power connector this is I might look into getting an adapter so I can use a more standard power supply.

Yep, pretty much how I feel about things, too. I'm not going to wheel and deal with someone if they're way under the going price. Of course, I'm
also not generally in it to resell... although I do have some dupes in my collection that I need to sell someday.

A tricky search, maybe that official power supply might have some voltage pinout information? Based on your picture there likely are a couple different voltages required for the different pins. If you get it figured out maybe might be able to hookup multiple transformers or an older laptop multi pin power supply?

The best cart would be of course the Sean Kelly Multicart, I posted a Thread on it and updated my answer for individual games there. Keep an eye online for the Multicart, once in a while he sells another batch.

Those Pokemon ones must be worth way more than that. It seems like Pokemon everything spiked in value after the Pokemon Go app came out.

Damn, I ordered one from a reseller for $75. When I was looking on eBay I wondered what was up with those completed listings that went for $50. Guess that explains it. XD

Well and not to mention you've got the people like me who grew up with the series(though I'm not crazy enough to pay the prices people are for some of this stuff because that's bonkers). it's a little sad they're driving up the price like that though....
