Harry Brown. Michael Caine is awesome in this. The fact he was brought up in the Elephant and Castle area of London immensely adds authenticity to his performance. It's a 21st century vigilante picture. Better than Death Wish 3? Definitely!

The Thaw, Val Kilmer has put on some weight in the face. I thought the movie was pretty okay though. Felt like the moral of the story was a bit forced on at first, but I guess it worked towards the end. Although, since the cause of the problem is happening regardless - in the film - why go through all the trouble that Kilmer went through? Instead, wait for what's happening to happen and then just stand back and say I told you so. Sorry, trying not to give too much away.

I just saw ponyo too, it was really cute and had some nice character development.
Still though, am I the only one who thought the ending might have been a little....abrupt?

i have watched:
Schindler's list (pretty good, but to be honest even though it's about something that everyone should know about in order to prevent it in the future, im sick of WWII)
Muppets from space (fucking awsome, what else can i say)
Dr.Horrible and the sing along blog (i absolutely love this)
repo! the genetic opera (this one was decent but i think it needed a little more plot in it, and i wouldn't mind seeing a sequel)

in a week me and my friends are going to watch dark crystal (full well knowing that it's pretty bad) just for kicks.
"ninja's wear clothing of every color so they can blend with the alphabet."-best friend concerning bushido blade 2.
my trade and sell list is right here: http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... 22&t=20601

N64, saturn model 2, ds, Dreamcast, ps1, ps2, GBC, GBA, GBA SP, xbox, 3DO, psp slim (v.3001.)
feel free to PM/IM me if you feel like talking to me.

• REPO! is one of the best musicals in years, and that puts it alongside Hedwig, Wicked and RENT. And FYI, it was released unfinished, abd they will put more work on it when they get the money. And it's actually the 2nd part of a trilogy.

• Dark Crystal is good, but Labyrinth is better.

if it was released unfinished...then that makes a lot of sense. and i hope your right about dark crystal. because i really want to enjoy it. it looks cool as hell.

Just watched FF VII Advent Children earlier today. It was... not good. It looked nice visually but it was just kinda dumb. The 2 motorcycle chase fights and the summon battle were beyond ridiculous. Having not payed attention when a roommate had played through VII, I only knew a few plot points before watching the extra with the movie that goes over it. Maybe it was a bit more confusing being in condensed form, but that plot came across as pretty stupid too.

I'm sure I'll get skewered for heresy, but this just reaffirmed why I'm not a fan of FF games. :?

I've read two awesome scripts for two new muppet movies. Loved both, though I think only one may possibly get the green light.

Dark Crystal is awesome. I dated a chick who looked so much like:

She was elfish looking, but I've always like petite women.
