I had a most awesome day! This morning I went to the fleamarket and I found Yoshi for nes for a dollar! Sweet. I also did a Facebook trade with a friend and he gave me a tip on where to find some games cheap. So after the normal fleamarket I went to the indoor fleamarket a few blocks away. I found the place, but it wasn’t open yet! I could only peek from the distance and imagine what goodies await. Finally after work, I quickly made my way over. And thankfully the games were still there. Oh and what a beautiful bounty it was! The lady in the mini thrift store sold me each game for a dollar each! I kid you not! Ps1, ps2 and dreamcast games all complete! It ended up being 27 games. But as I was paying, I saw that there was a placard where it says that money from sales goes to cancer research, so I left $30 with her. And I got to take home a significant chunk of gaming goodies!

Seriously, Fragems, how 'bout sending some of those flea markets and stuff down here? Maybe I'd find some cool stuff. :)

Well what I'm actually considering doing right now is creating a kind of finder's club here. Since I'm kind of burnt out on eBay and keep accumulating massive amounts of stuff and quite a few duplicates :P. Trying to figure out how I'd go about it though currently thinking about setting it up to where I'd sell the stuff for either $1 over what I paid or 50-60% of VGPC. Still working out the kinks like setting up purchase limits, rules to try and keep away re sellers, and etc.

Agreed. Firefighter F.D.18 is a pretty rare game. Very nice.

Interesting concept, but I don't see how you'd keep out flippers. Then again some could be people who also end up flipping as they discover it sucks to them. The only thing I ever found that seemed to work on not too expensive of stuff was a 20-25% discount, doesn't leave meat on the bone. I have to say I'm curious to see what you do and what you have too given all those amazon listings.

The solution is just to give them to me. My collection is a black hole from which video games can never escape. ;)

Well the general stuff to try to keep flippers out and to give people a fair whack at stuff would be something along these lines.

1. 5 games per person per day or maybe an 8x6x4 box of games per day. People could of course build up a few days worth of stuff before having me ship it out.
2. People caught immediately flipping stuff would be blacklisted from the group.
3. There would be a preset amount of time that you would have to have been a member say 6 months to a year before getting involved as well as some forum activity.
Etc.

Plus with the setup of items either being $1 above what I paid or 50-60% of VGPC would suck a decent amount of profit out of most of the games.

My collection is also a viable destination.

Picked up the Atari 2600 lot that I was talking about yesterday for $40. Was a bit peeved when I got home and noticed one of the games which I wanted Dragonfire was missing, but no biggy a quick search on RFgen revealed I already have it  . Anyways everything was in spectacular shape so much so that pretty much all of these duplicates will be swapping places with the copies I have in my collection. The System itself is also in really good shape aside from missing the power brick(which are usually dead anyways) it also came with a set of paddles and joystick which are in really good shape.

Also picked up some neat older pc stuff as well as some misc stuff.

Everything was $1 so I ended up with a nice and heavy older universal ac/dc adapter, a Dell Wireless USB adapter, an old Sega RF Switch Box which has seen better days :P, 3 graphics cards, a direct tv slingbox adapter(I was curious interesting but useless for me) and the coolest thing a gold finger(thought it was a controller adapter of some sort  ) accessory for my PS1 :). The graphics cards are an ATI Radeon 9200(has s-video and composite outs :)), Elitegroup Ag315e-32, and a 3dfx Voodoo4 4500.
