I don't usually post in this thread, but I had a crazy yard sale find today. I was just passing one near my house and stopped. There was a bin of PC games - almost all of them complete. The guy wanted a buck each. So I start making a pile. Once I hit a dozen I asked how much for the bin and he said he'd take $20. So this is what I got - all CIB jewel case or DVD copies unless noted:

Activision Atari 2600 Classics
Bloodrayne
Capitalism
Circle Of Blood
City Of Villains (big box w/ HeroClix figure)
The Crystal Key
Deer Avenger 2
Dragon's Lair
Dungeon Keeper 2 (disc)
The Elk Moon Murder
Finding Nemo (disc/manual)
Halo (disc)
Hospital Tycoon
The Incredibles (no manual)
The Incredibles When Danger Calls (disc/manual)
Jewels Of The Oracle
Kelly Slater Pro Surfer
Kid's Typing (disc/manual)
Lego Star Wars
Lemonade Tycoon 2
Mall Tycoon 2 Deluxe
Max Payne
Mixed-Up Mother Goose Deluxe
Museum Madness
Myth II Soulblighter
Night Trap (discs)
Phantasmagoria
Pyst
Reel Deal Casino Quest
Reel Deal Casino Shuffle Master (disc)
Shadowbane
The Ship
SimCity Societies
The Sims 2
The Sims 2 Nightlife
The Sims 3 An Introduction
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six (disc)
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4

Dude, Zoo Tycoon is the best of the early-mid 2000s tycoon games IMO. I forget, did Marine Mania include Dino Digs, or was that just the Gold Edition that included both?

I... have no idea. I honestly know nothing about Zoo Tycoon other than people seem to really like it.

I added about 2/3rd's of these games to my shelves, and will offload the duplicates or stuff I'm not that interested in. I'm not keeping the Marine Mania expansion for one.

Also, it turns out that a very small handful of these are actually Mac games - Night Trap included. I'm not sure if there's an easy way to run those on Windows 10? Night Trap was a rare case where I was going to keep the loose discs in my collection, haha.

If you want to play Mac OS7 or OS8 games in windows you're going to need an emulator. Basilisk II and sheepshaver are the most popular software for emulating old mac hardware. You're also going to need a system disk or an image file for the operating system. Start here:

I think that may answer your questions better than I can.

I sold a Master system today for $60 and rather than save the money, I spent it all and then some! I drove out of town to take the console to the buyer. In a city called Brawley. I dont drive out there that often, So I hit up one of the thrift stores over there. The first things I got was for $10, three gameboy advance games. And as I was paying for it I spotted a spryo skylanders figure. For a dollar it came home with me! Then at the walmart there, I found Dark souls 2 for $15 dollars. I’ve been wanting this game and my local walmart ran out of it a while ago. So I got lucky, farther away. When I made it to El centro, I went to the other walmart, one of three in Imperial county. A while back I saw Squishy Tank there. But I never bought it. Online the game is about $10+, so when I learned about the price there, I was close by and had to pick it up. Five dollars at walmart. As I went through their cheap games area, I spotted the Sly cooper vita collection. I grabbed it and I suspected that it was going to be cheap too. It was. At the register it came out to $9.98! Not bad. As I finally made it to calexico, the last town before mexicali (where I live), I did one last trip to gamestop. There I spent the last of the extra money I had. I paid about $66 dollars for all those ps3 and one 360 game. These are games that I dont have, until now! There was still a few more that I wanted, but I already spent enough. I hope they’re there next week.

Well I saw a used copy of Devils Third at Gamestop today. Kind of surprised me to see it there. So I got out my phone and cashed in some points and got it for free!

so if this thing is as bad as I hear at least I will not feel bad for paying for it!

It's going to be debatable amongst you, but tonight I did some trades with a guy that I met on Facebook and I've been friends with him for a while now. I traded a whole lot of different video games for these old Nintendo games. I gave the guy quite a bit of my doubles and Spares of consoles and accessories that I have. Today I added 27 Nintendo games that I never had before. Games that may have taken me a while to get one by one in the wild or spending extra money on the internet to get them. At first I was going to give him a flat rate price for them. Three for $10. But as the stack kept going, it really wasn't going to work for him. He still had another 25 games in the tub he brought directly to my house. And pretty much I was taking all his good ones. So then it was time for me to pull out all my spare games and accessories in storage. Stuff that I picked up over the years. I assembled out of all my spare pieces: one Gamecube, memory card controller, and four games. One NES NES complete with 2 controllers and a gun. One Sega Genesis complete with six games and two controllers. Four Nintendo 64 games av cords, power plugs and a generic controller. DS plugs, New Super Mario Brothers DS, complete and Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow cart only. Alleyway and Tetris Gameboy carts only. And for generic case PS2 games to finish it all off. We both spent quite a few hours going through all my spare stuff. But in the end we finally both left happy. I got some new old Nintendo games, while he left with a whole varied selection of different generations of video games. He's probably going to resell it all, since he has a flea market stall. But what he does with his new games, that's his business. All my stuff in the trade we did is extra stuff not in my main collection. Have any of you ever done big massive trades like this before and has it gone good or not-so-good?

This week's thrift pick ups. Favorite is probably the sealed Chocobo game. Seems like Wii is basically the only system I ever find anything for lol. Anyone played this Sin and Punishment game? No idea if it is any good but saw the Treasure logo so figured I had to buy it just out of nostalgia.

Nice to see some games that were common on 8 bit computers. I recognize Commodore 64 as well as DOS games. Surprise of NES Xeonophobe which I thought was exclusive to older computers and the Atari 7800 console.
