How was it? I certainly hope you got the "Happy" Dave.TSTR wrote:Going to see Dave Chappelle tonight.
Smile/frown: If there is such a thing as a Food Hangover, I'm having it. And I regret nothing!
I ate more in one sitting last night than I have eaten in an entire week. Not exaggerating at all. My pal Pringles called me on Monday and asked "You like oysters?". I do. He invited a small group of friends over and he went all out. I ate:
Two andouille sausages.
Over 24 oysters (raw, steamed, and rockefeller).
An ear of corn.
Eight fingerling potatoes.
A dozen clams.
At least fifteen shrimp (15-20 count).
Two soft shell crabs.
An undefinable amount of garlic bread.
And I'm sure I'm forgetting something.

Dave ruled. He was in prime form, and the crowd was great.
Good to see you crushing food, Luckmaster. You're too damn skinny.

A good crowd makes all the difference. It's weird, but there are plenty of people who go to see a comedian, and have no intention of having a good time or laughing.
And yeah, too much food. TMI: I've taken about five football sized dumps since six am. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that last night I ate more food in one sitting than I ever have before.
I am too skinny. I have a close friend that, and I'm not kidding, makes me weigh myself when I visit her. She means well. She goes about it very politely, so I do humor her, but she asks, at least once a week, "Hey Luke. You're looking pretty healthy Why don't you check and see if you've put on any weight". It's now referred to as "The weekly weigh in". In fact, I already know I will be weighing in tomorrow.

dump game strong
Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
I specifically said "football sized" because I'm fairly sure one had Roger Goodell's signature on it.TSTR wrote:dump game strong
Yup. Poop jokes. But also Roger Goodell jokes. Evens out.
Edit:

Getting ready for a night with friends, stargazing and smores...and chocolate and oatmeal stouts. Should be able to have a good view of Mars tonight.

So I've been making this homemade salsa lately. Like the flavor, but I felt it wasn't very spicy, so i noticed habaneros on sale.
I added two habaneros to about maybe 2 or 3 cups of salsa
....that was way too much
oh my god I am dying
it just keeps burning and lingering on and on
help

Yea, probably should have put 1/4 of a habanero. Lol
Milk and spices can give you a bad case of heart burn.
Best thing for me when eating spicy stuff, like 357 hot sauce, is washing out your mouth with hot water or mouthwash. It burns like hell, but gets rid of it.
Eating bunch of bread helps.
Gradually eating some ice cubes eases the time passing.
