Jeez, we only lost power for a little while, maybe 4 hours. Sucks that you were out for so long and others still are around here :/BoneSnapDeez wrote:Just got power back after a long outage caused by a huge storm.
Winter has begun. There's gonna be snow on the ground for about 6 months now.
I now have a tree limb resting delicately on my power lines. Gonna have to get an arborist up in here.
Same problem with the tree limbs, although they're causing problems with my internet. It'll be fixed soon enough so no big deal.
Just how Maine is. I miss the warmth already.

So tomorrow will suck, but it'll lead to better things. I'm really worried about that whole wanderlust thing hitting hard while I'm off though.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed

Enjoy your time off, dude. Wander. Take a day trip or a weekend trip. Ride the Amtrak or the Greyhound. Try a new food you've never eaten before. See a play. Climb a mountain. Buy your family members Christmas presents from different states.

Nah, you can stay at home in your PJs and eat cookies while playing video games if you just have one single day off.
Sixteen days off is an opportunity for adventure; don't squander it.
When you're sitting on your deathbed you won't be bragging to your grandkids about the time you sat at home in your boxers eating ice cream and playing Rayman. You'll brag about the time you went on that wild adventure.
