I will give them more money when that happens. But as of right now I have only bought two games on my Wiiu (Balloon Fight and Fzero) and none on my 3ds. But if I can buy one VC game and play it on either console, I will be much more inclined. Same with most other titles. Heck Nintendo would get me to start buying 3ds games digitally if I can play them on my TV. I would gladly rebuy OOT and a couple others for that.Opa Opa wrote:I will think a little more highly of nintendo when they get a fully-fledged account system going. I picked up Sonic Lost World, so far I really like it. There are a couple acts that for some reason I had the hardest time beating (nothing like some of the levels in Unleashed, though), maybe I was just tired. All in all, it is a really good Sonic game that kind of brings me back to the platforming and precision of the original Sonic, it's not all just "run forward to win" this time around. The zones are all very entertaining, and I've already had a few acts that I went back and repeated 'just because'. A very good step forward from Sonic Generations which I highly recommend picking up in on itself for fan service alone.alexis524 wrote:can't wait to pick up SM3DW myself, and i'm guilty too of having SMG 1 & 2 sit unfinished on my shelf. On a similar note, I'm reading that Sonic Lost World is
pretty much SMG, but with Sonic. That one is on my rather LARGE want list. I love how vibrant and lush the colors look. Reviews are meh. Will wait till it drops in price to check out.
That being said, my Wii U hasn't been getting much love otherwise lately and I've decided I'll be focusing on my Wii U and PC for the foreseeable future. While I really like the Xbox One (and I haven't decided on the Ps4, I'm sure it'll be good once some decent games come out), I really could do without and sticking to PC for that kind of experience.

Yeah, I'm in Middle Tennessee. We're getting freezing temperatures, but no ice yet.fastbilly1 wrote:If it is in middle TN, no. Woke up to 25 degree weather and ice on the driveway.Jmenglan wrote:Random aside, does CousinFuck have nice weather this time of year?
Anyway, I'm kind of thinking about getting a Wii-U since it upscales Wii games. I can just play the Wii games I haven't gotten too yet while I wait for more interesting games and just demote my Wii to GameCube Status.

So, the IGN review of SM3DW went up for just a few moments before being taken down. Luckily for us, somebody caught it before it got down and uploaded it:

I'm super pumped to play it. Looks like great fun.

They updated the games at the kiosk at Walmart recently so I got to try it out too. I thought it was pretty fun. I also tried the Wonderful 101 and...well, it was a bit confusing. But that had already been mentioned here on the forums, so it wasn't something that was totally unexpected.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:Speaking of Sonic the demo is up for NA/EU guys. Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
I really liked the single level demo. Obviously, I'm not sure how the level design will be in the later parts of the game but level 1 was solid.
Honestly, after reading everything, I had absolutely 0 issues with the controls. It doesn't play at all like one would assume a Sonic game would or perhaps should though. The platforming is very slow and methodical. It reminded me a lot of Mario actually. Holding the run button is the sure-fire way to get yourself killed from what I played.
Seemed really good. I played a bit of the 3DS demo for laughs too and I wasn't nearly as impressed with it.
Sort of a side note ~ Lost World is easily the best looking game on the WiiU so far from what I saw in that demo. Runs at 60fps without a hitch, full 720p from what I can tell. Tons of foliage and good anti aliasing. So much color. It really looks very nice.

You can speed through the levels once you get really good at it and know the levels. But it's actually fun to try and explore and take your time using more precise platforming. There's quite a lot of really good levels, but there are a few crappy/mediocre ones too. Overall, I found it incredibly enjoyable though and I welcomed the change in pace.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:I really liked the single level demo. P.S. It runs at 60fps and full 1080p.

I just realised something , New Super Mario game is the first Mario game in HD. I guess that is something worth while to be written in gaming historyRyaNtheSlayA wrote:I
