Do they not have beer/a bar in the convention center at Prime?
Did they have one at PAX East?

Frown: Came home and one of the circuits in my house is dead. Nothing was tripped on the box and I've already tried manually toggling everything just in case. It knocked out the dining room light, both kitchen lights, the deck light, and an outlet in the corner that I have a lamp plugged in at. Need to get an electrician out here to diagnose what's going on, and while he's out here I'll also get him to look at my porch motion sensor light which stopped working a while ago that I haven't cared enough to deal with.

Second frown: My cable box started making a squealing noise, so I've got it unplugged. Now kitties don't have a nice heated box to lie on, and I don't have a clock anymore when I'm playing something fullscreen.

Ah, old houses that have multiple rooms on the same breaker. I swear, sometimes they just seem to be wired with no rhyme or reason (pretty sure that's when they just wire rooms in whichever way uses less wire since it's expensive).

You have that breaker off for the time being, right? I would keep it off until the electrician comes, just in case. It's not working anyway, so it's not like you're losing anything by keeping it off.

From my experience, motion sensor lights are disposable. I have one above the garage door and I have to replace it every few years.

Our motion lights SUUUUUCK. They go off randomly and just stay on longer than they're supposed to. They're old as balls though, so it's prob time for some new ones.

This seems to happen to all of them eventually.

Where I live the purpose of motion lights is to make you aware of deer in the front yard.

Don't sweat it, Jinx. It's an opportunity to change your whole look. Besides, I hear that dorks are cool, and it's hip to be square.
