Yeah, imagine them spending resources on a game people have been clamouring for that's guaranteed to be a top seller instead of spending loads of money gambling on an IP that a good chunk of their audience won't be familiar with at all! What morons!

In answer to your question though, Duck Hunt dog is just in Smash Bros. as a playable chaaracter. Not DLC or anything like that.

I mentioned it in the other thread, but if Grezzo's doing the port work (I'm pretty sure they are), very few of Nintendo's resources are actually being devoted towards making this happen. That means they're likely merrily working on other stuff while Grezzo finishes this up.

And yeah, it'll sell, which is also useful for the bottom line.

Soon we will get people yelling and calling you a fanboy for even considering this Majora's Mask re-release as an acceptable act, followed by a long diatribe about how you need to wake up and realize how dumb Nintendo is.

Have a cup of cocoa and sit by the fire with us folks who just like to have fun, because it's gonna be a loooooooong winter.

I meant the Nintendo on the whole problems due to the WiiU sucking it up badly.

Irix has a nice list. I'd add Ace Combat and Castlevania to it along with Pinball Hall of Fame and both of those Theaterhythm Final Fantasy titles. The 3DS has the best handheld library since the GBA for variety and quality.

Alien/Apple -- Yeah it is to me awful and is it like the game or not a waste of a resource both in money and a talent like Grizzo that could be making a new IP or resurrecting another lost item like Kid Icarus was so well done. I don't like MM, I don't make any doubt with that one when it's brought up. The masks are mostly time wasters, I don't much like the world, the mechanics do nothing for me with the 3 day clock where you lose physical changes to the world (and your consumables and cash if not banked) which means speed running various things which I don't like either. If you had a timeline like bar of all zelda games, from shitty to fantastic, it would at the tip of the bad side of it as it really was just a cheap cash in by Nintendo to help stave off the bleeding of the prematurely dying N64 by reusing an engine and mixed new/used assets to slip a game out and it shows.

I happen to think it's one of the best in an already amazing series, with a dedication to world building and atmosphere that many other games are lacking. The sidequests are interesting, the timer adds pressure without being unfairly limiting, the characters are much better developed than other games in the series and I absolutely adore it.

Majoras Mask has been my Twitter icon for the last 4 years. Not going to agree with you on this one.

The majority tend to be quite strange with Nintendo platforms. It's like they have tunnel vision and completely ignore the fact that most of the libraries are in fact quite varied. The Wii is the best example of this but yes the 3DS also has a varied library.

You didn't enjoy Majora's Mask and that is ok, but it isn't a waste of money as the general audience has been clamoring for it and yes, by all accounts, it is a good game. There are tons of games out there that are viewed as good by the general public that I didn't enjoy or connect with and that's ok too. We all experience things a bit differently and that is what is so special about us as a human race, we all have different perspectives.
