Yes, have your controller in before starting MAME at any time. I've made the mistake of plugging it in when it was already loaded and even with the assignments changed up, it wouldn't recognize it.

Wait, wasn't MAME v.141 the release right before they added sound to Toaplan games? I wouldn't recommend so old of a build.

I believe it was, but I don't like waiting at least 1-2 minutes for the thing to load. It's a small price to pay to have no sound. If I want full sound, I'll go back to my 0.149 and the IV-Play frontloader which brings down boot time on the newer builds (drawback to it is a bit of a difficult interface compared to MAMEUI) I had used 0.149 briefly for Rapid Hero too, it came out around the time we were playing it, because it fixed a sound issue for that game.

By vote, the first game isn't announced until the night before.

However, the second game can be announced now as we voted to announce 2 weeks before.
