E3 2013 Thread

So what did I miss in the first half hour? I came in after Wind Waker showed.

new Mario kart, 4 players Super Mario 3D Land game for the Wii U (called Super Mario 3D World), and a boring Wii U party game.

Was DKC after Zelda or before?

Anyway I am only excited about Xeno-boy and the Smash Bros game. The other games seem fun, but not stuff I would buy a console for (but I would buy them if I did own that console)

No bayonetta? It really stands out from the other games that were show. Also new DKC game, didn't see that one coming.

Still haven't played the original. I'm not a big fan of DMC so I didn't try its spiritual successor.

Now I know why Nintendo didn't do E3 the normal way....they had nothing to show!

I love Nintendo, but if this is it, then just sign everyone up for automatic draft to Sony's bank account because the PS4 exclusives and 3rd Party games look great compared to Nintendo and Microsoft.

This was more of the same old stuff from Nintendo and they had a golden opportunity to prove to people that they still have what it takes to compete in the home console market.
I am pretty sure I am not the only one who has been watching Microsoft screw themselves and thought this was tailor made for Nintendo to hit a home run, just as Sony did yesterday. What a waste of 40 minutes. No surprises, just as expected and then some big let downs (looking at you RETRO and Mario 3D Land HD rehash!!!!)

Please prove me wrong and say this was just a 1st installment of whats coming later at E3, sadly, I don't think this is the case!

On the plus side it's one of the few WiiU games due out this year.

The Direct wasn't bad but it felt very safe. Meh.

It looked like Smash Bros, and they haven't gone into any detail about the gameplay additions and whatnot yet.

That "new" mario game... for a minute i though i new mario for the 3DS then i saw the WiiU logo aaaand... nintendo you can do it better.
