Ah yes, isometric games are the bane of my gaming existence. Its a great way of potentially putting me off a game entirely, even if its good in every other way. There's only a couple of exceptions to that rule for me.

Rayman definitely belongs on the list. Its a great game, but I'm never able to play it for very long before I get pissed off.

How nice of Dave to take those incredibly frustrating games off your hands though. :lol: He's a true friend!

@Joe

I needed a nice vid to go to sleep, but your scary disc breaking mug is sure to give me nightmares as soon as I go to bed.

I also have a friend that whenever he comes over he 'borrows games from me and also asks for a bag! :lol:

keep up the good work.

Love the bit about not being able to find battletoads.

I remember when i first played it i had tried renting it all the rental places in town for weeks with no luck. Then just when i was going to rent something else someone brought theres back while I was in the store.

I had no idea it had driving parts at all.

For the longest time i would say, "I don't think they finnished this game. They just made this part impossible and hoped no one asked questions"

God I hate that speeder bike.

Just to be that guy - In the newest episode of Game Sack, is that supposed to be a UK flag alongside the American one in the background? If so, it's roughly 211 years out of date.

I loved the Daytona stuff on this episode. Even though I've played all four versions you guys discussed, it was really awesome seeing all four of them on the same screen. Really put the visual differences into perspective.

I personally thought that stuff went on way too long. It used up a pretty large portion of the video.

I have Super Off Road on the SNES and you gotta love the Toyota product placement everywhere even with the music on the upgrade screen. (I see what you did there on the 4 way version comparing screen with the logo in the back!)

The first Goonies on the NES was only playable in the arcade on the Vs. System hardware and I think it also made it to the Play Choice 10.

Notice how many licensed titles were just translated re-hashes of Japanese games we'd otherwise never get over here? The SMS Rambo was a good example. You had a brief mention of Yo Noid! on the NES which also received the same treatment. Maybe you guys can dig in and find some licensed games that were released just like that.
