Final Fantasy V and VI.
I already have the PS1 version. But I'd kinda like them in portable form, so are the GBA or PSN versions better?
Which Version Is Best?

The PSN versions are just the Ps1 versions, and have all the lengthy loading and slowdown that plague the Ps1 versions.
Just go with GBA.
Just go with GBA.

So wouldn't that mean that the PS1 version takes longer to complete? Sounds to me like the PS1 version gives you more game per buck.

I guess that's one way of looking at it!

Thinking about changing my Doom 3 on the oxbox for the BFG edition on the Ps3. Is it a good port?

I hate to be that guy but I highly recommend playing the original version of FF VI on the SNES. The soundtrack is such an integral part of the game and it's massively degraded on the GBA port.
The GBA port of V is cool with me though, it's actually my favorite version of that game.

FFV on the GBA is great. Currently playing through it right now. Captures all the goodness, and the player pictures in the dialogue boxes are really nice.

What others said about FFV. I played most of the PSX version ages ago and never thought much of it, but a few years back ran through the GBA version and it kicked ass. Way better translation, nicer menu's and stuff, and even some of the music was a little cooler with the GBA's signature sound.
FFVI on the SNES only for me though, same with Chrono Trigger. Never playing other versions of those two again.
Holy crap yeah, definitely do it. I just ran through the entire thing myself and it was a blast if you're a fan. Looks fantastic, especially the texture details in the new Lost Mission expansion... seriously felt like I was looking at Halo 4 quality stuff sometimes. Even the controls felt better, infinite running, no flashlight switching anymore, auto-saves, and it comes with both expansions and Doom 1-2 for good measure. Definite version of Doom 3 by a long shot I'd say.

Heh, only version of it I've actually sat down with for long was the Ps1 version. I still thought it kicked ass.

Is R-Type DX for Game Boy Color the same game as R-Type on Game Boy, just in color? Or does it the gameplay have differences?
