I will be playing the PS4 version of Diablo 3 when it's out.

I still enjoy Dragon's Crown. It just doesn't offer an enjoyable single player experience like Muramasa did. Instead it offers a decent but not great multiplayer experience. Happy they didn't use an account system? It's frustrating because it prevents me from using my characters when playing local multi on a PS3 w/ friends. I have to start over. Losing all progress in an RPG can be aggravating. Is that difficult to understand? Some sort of Atlus account system would have solved this easily.

And no. I don't wish it were Diablo. That is just the exact feeling I got as soon as I first heard of the game how it played. Side scrolling Diablo.

I guess you could just bring your console over to your friend's place :D

Me and one other friend have it on the Vita. Which is great. We can do local multi and keep our characters. But our other friends didn't get the Vita version (for no good reason) or just plain don't own a Vita.

Yea. Let me carry over my PS3 and 47" TV every weekend.

played thru the tutorial, and fought that first bird boss... not sure I'm loving this game.

This is really nothing new...

...and I think that the "extremely designed" characters are more emblematic of fantasy art than video games.

Those are real people, by definition they can't be "extremely designed"

If you're playing single player Muramasa is a lot better. Dragon's Crown is a joke. But the multi can be fun for a while.

hmm, lots of you are making me glad I decided to just wait for PS+. Guess there was some merit to those reviews that complained about tedium...

Ordered it off of Amazon. Probably won't play it until 2014. Sounds like a cool game according to most people here.

Did you order early to get the SE? Otherwise I find it tough to pay MSRP for something I know I won't get to for a while...

I dunno, I'm well into the part that many are calling tedious and I'm still loving it as a 100% single player experience, and eager to get into harder modes and replay with the other classes. It's probably not going to wind up as like a favorite of mine or anything but I am really enjoying it. Muramasa is definitely better in more ways than one, but that's some pretty stiff competition there. Plus the design philosophy for the games are completely different, so comparing them doesn't seem fair.

I don't see myself going out of my way to recommend it to people though, certainly a niche thing. But for beat em up fans, you can't ask for much more.

I also don't see how people are calling it out as too difficult, if you utilize all the tools the game provides it is a cakewalk. If anything the difficulty is my main complaint. There's a really deep and well designed game here that feels cheapened by all the crutches they throw at the player.
