Breaking Bad Season 3 Starts Tonight

"Hello, Hector. The cartel has given me its ultimatum. To which I've said no. DEA agent Schrader, he's a concern. He's looking into my past."

After:

"Look at me Hector. Look. At. Me. [Gets up, pats him on the shoulder] Maybe next time."

But I'm unsure what he meant and why Hector was so worked up...

I think the point of it was to be unsure, we know the two men have a history together, we know Hector killed his friend/business partner, we know Hector is in the States for some reason, but not much else.

We are meant to be unsure as to why he got worked up, so we will tune in for the next episode.

^ Well there's also the fact that it was (I think) implied that Gus made the phone tip to Hank that gave him the edge during that epic battle. Now those two guys are dead, so he might be really angry with Gus over that.
