I hate people who tell me what I should do on my video games

This. It's a way of putting their own interest above anything else.Key-Glyph wrote:Basically whenever anyone says, "But you could sell that stuff for good money!" as if that's an end in itself, what they really mean is, "You could turn that stuff into cash, and then turn that cash into other stuff -- stuff that I personally find way more interesting

[quote="god"]Video Games - Better than Drugs
Har har Har, id be willing to argue about this! Drugs addictions have taken significantly less money from me then my video game collecting. And most people who know me, know that making bank is all I care about. I cant stop collecting, its literally the most expensive money pit I have encountered so far. I have more games then I will ever play, and that is a sad thought.

I was showing too much emotion there and that hurts. To emote is to tremble and to tremble is to be worse at moving the arcade stick. Those who seek the enlightment of video games must shed their human values if they want to succed.Key-Glyph wrote:Did you sprain your face at the end thereGeneral_Norris wrote:![]()

Well, at least drugs don't take all the room!"I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't do drugs. I play video games, which I think is a far superior addiction to any of those other ones." -- Adam Wood, King of Kong

That quotation is begging to be engraved on stone somewhere. You might have just written your own epitaph, sir.General_Norris wrote:Those who seek the enlightment of video games must shed their human values if they want to succeed.
Re: I hate people who tell me what I should do on my video g
I can really relate to this. My brother and his friends come over to my house a lot because I still live at home. Whenever they are over they see my room with all my stuff in it and they are always like dude your a hoarder and you don't sell and get rid of stuff. All you do is buy more. I say well I am not a hoarder, I am a collector. I love to collect video games, movies, coins, and relics. Like the original poster said above, that is who i am. I keep my door shut at all times now and never let any of them in.
I used to have the xbox 360 in my room, but now i have to have it out in the living room so they can play it and not bother me with what I am doing. I of course get to take it back into my room when my bro's not home from college.
Another thing, they also rag on me that i choose to work and go to school instead of just go to a normal 4 year college. I tell them im saving money for other things and do not want to experience that drunk lifestyle like they are doing.
So man, all in all after my ranting. I totally get where your coming from.
