Re: Playstation Vita thread
Random question (kind of) - what's the difference with the DX version? I have the original (crossbuy for PS3/Vita)
Re: Playstation Vita thread
Thanks for the info, I reached out to their customer support to see if it was PS TV compatible and they replied right away and it is!! I ordered one, love the obscurity of the Vita. I'm hoping PS TV gets some hardcore support going forth especially with Game compatibility (Ys Memories lookin at you!!) and PSone Classics (wishing the whole library gets released :p) as well as love for the Vita period.FerretGamer wrote:Public Service Announcement:

The PS4 version went quickly and commands insane prices now. If you are remotely interested, buy it!
Edit: @ RSG it's supposed to be the remastered PS4 version. There is a description of the features when I looked up the game on my PS4. Hey what's your thoughts on Myst PSP and is there a difference from the PS1 version?

Re: Playstation Vita thread
So it was my birthday last weekend, and as an act of self-love which doesn't involve masturbation, i treated myself to a Playstation TV, and compatibility woes aside, i'm mightily impressed! For 55 Euro, i get a device which is the size of a smartphone which i can plug into my TV via HDMI, and play (the majority of) my Vita, PSP and PSOne games that i own on PSN. Since my only other home console is a Wii (and a Dreamcast which is currently packed away), this translates to being able to play Front Mission 3, Vagrant Story (PSOne), Street Fighter Alpha 3, Metal Gear Peace Walker (PSP), Velocity Ultra, Dragon's Crown, Lumines, Soldner X2 and Borderlands 2 on the big screen, with the extremely comfortable control of a Dualshock 3. I know a lot of people rag on the PSTV for poor remote play, lack of Netflix etc., but it's fulfilling my own needs pretty nicely. Can't wait to use it to play stuff like Bastion, Hyper Light Drifter, Darkest Dungeon et al.
Aaaaanyway, that rant aside, the PSTV came with a download voucher for Velocity Ultra, Worms Revolution Extreme, and OlliOlli. I already previously bought Velocity and OlliOlli, and am not too fussed about Worms, so i'd like to give this 3-game voucher to whoever wants it - just send me a message, first come first served, and i'll open the box and give you the code. I'm in Ireland, but the voucher might be useable across the EU region (but probably not UK) - please don't request the code if you're uncertain it'll work in your country, and please don't request it just to sell it on either!

Re: Playstation Vita thread
sounds like a good deal I have two of them and play ad hoc games a lot and since you can install a game you download on up to 2-4 systems (Game depending) per master account it's rather cheaper option. Powerstone collection psp 9.99 + two PS TV's see where I'm getting at. Now the memory cards are ouchy there needs to be a balance between the games and cards a little better.
Sony Drop the prices on these if you want people to download MORE GAMES!

Cool, I was aware of most of those did they say if Cyberpunk Bartender being physically released? I would imagine it would be download only but you never know with the Vita.

I hope it gets a physical release. I haven't taken my Vita online yet, and I certainly don't want to. Chances are the game will get a PC port though as these things go these days.

Re: Playstation Vita thread
The software updates alone are worth doing it at least once. Especially for PS4 remote play.Exhuminator wrote:I hope it gets a physical release. I haven't taken my Vita online yet, and I certainly don't want to. Chances are the game will get a PC port though as these things go these days.
Re: Playstation Vita thread
Yes it's good to have the updates!
OlliOlli 2 works on PS TV I just checked, even for the games that aren't compatible they still at least install and you are able to read their manuals. I install all my games whether they work on the TV or not hoping one day I'll check and there is an update patch for compatibility.
Edit: Althought compatibility is coming along more titles have been added as of recently.
