On episode 302 of One piece now....geez how much longer before usopp takes off that stupid mask? I'm getting sick of seeing it...everyone knows it's him(except chopper and luffy obviously )

Oh I remember those days you almost half way to being caught up. Although I'm not sure how far they have dubbed so far .

Subs on the site I use will be up to 656 tonight.

I wasn't a big fan of the Sniper King mask either . Never really cared much for Usopp he is my least favorite character next to "Soul King" who is i think an arc or two away for you. They aren't necessarily bad characters but they can definitely be annoying at times.

Yeah the original ship was pretty cool and had a nice long run. Oh and by least favorite character I meant crew mate. They all have their moments but some just get a little to annoying at times.

I would probably rank the crew mates like this. The newer guys would probably fall below them . Currently the show is up to 9 at the point and it seems like we are probably going to end up with another permanent crew member soon since their are quite a few potential members traveling with them as well as some new characters that have just been introduced.

Watching Fairy tail, Tales of the Abyss, and SAO II. Really enjoying all of them.

Finally finished Log Horizon watched the last 4 episodes last night. Decent ending over all not as epic a conclusion as I would have liked but next season looks like it will be promising.


Also started up Akame Ga Kill! and holy shit is this show ever brutal. Based on the description I expected it to be pretty harsh going in but they totally blew me away in the first episode alone. The ending almost reminded me of the first time I watched Elfen Lied due to the level of violence . Totally not the way I was expecting it to go given how the characters were joking around and peaceful for the first half of the episode. Definitely looks to be one of the darkest shows I have watched in a while.

UPDATE:

A few episodes into Akame Ga Kill! and I'm really liking it the characters are pretty interesting and the quality of the animation is very good. It's one of those shows were everyone can go from friendly/cute to emotionless killing machine within an instant which can be a bit jarring at times but once you get used to it every things great. I really like that they acknowledge that what they are doing is murder as well instead of trying to claim they have the right to kill for their cause.

Aldnoah.Zero

Started it the other day. Really great show if you are into Mecha anime. The Mechs are very well done and the story which centers around the conflict between Earth and a Rogue Colony which has formed on Mars is well written. Really like the main character as well he is probably one of my favorite mech pilots ever.

Still watching One Piece. I've officially seen more of franky than I ever needed to see....glad that part's over now especially since Robin made me hurt since I am a guy with what she did to franky

Ahem, been a long time since I posted in this thread, lol.

Just recently watched Cowboy Bebop (I know, I'm late to the party). I really liked it, it reminded me of Trigun, though I found Trigun to be a little more fun. Also watched the Cowboy Bebop movie just today, and it was excellent.

Now my girlfriend has gotten me into JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and I'm surprisingly enjoying it. How has this happened.

I'm of the rare group that's always kind of liked Trigun more (can't help but associate the two due to Adult Swim nostalgia). Bebop arguably looks better, is more stylish, and has few more standout moments. But once Trigun gets serious in the second half it's pretty damn good.

You'd probably like Black Lagoon, Gungrave, etc, if you haven't seen them.
