Thanks man. Trying to keep a positive outlook, because really? Being negative just... starts a spiral. There's absolutely nothing good that stress can do about something that you can't fix, chronic stress is 100% bad, no caveats. So I try to just stay positive as much as I can. Life is what you make of it.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!

Good outlook, but no shame at all in talking it out. It can be a positive thing. Best wishes to you and your family in these tough times. That is a whole lot to deal with, don't bottle it up.KalessinDB wrote:Thanks man. Trying to keep a positive outlook, because really? Being negative just... starts a spiral. I am sure Luke bears no ill will towards the kid and that he'd be the first to blame the parents for what the kid is shaping up to be…but nothing in comedy should be "sacred" and picking on an assholish kid for being an asshole is not a big deal.
I mean, we have movies based around the premise that kids can be assholes, right?
And one of Carlin's best bits…
"Something else I'm getting tired of is all this stupid bullshit we have to listen to all the time about children. That's all you hear in this country. Children. Help the children. What about the children? Save the children. You know what I say? I say fuck the children. Fuck 'em. They are getting entirely too much attention. And I know what you're thinking. You're saying 'Jesus he's not going to attack children is he?' Yes he is. He's going to attack children. And remember this is Mr. Conducter talking. I know what I'm talking about…
FFS I miss Carlin
Some people don't get satire even if you pound them over the head with it. Also, some people think the height of hilarity is wearing a t-shirt in showy weather.
Head up DB. Try not to dwell when possible and never forget that you still have your life to live.

I always fall behind on this thread and hardly ever get to directly address anyone's heart-to-heart posts with any sort of punctuality, but rest assured I'm thinking good thoughts in all of your directions and hoping things turn out all right. Y'all know who you are. <3
