Re-watching Always Sunny on Netflix cuz I'm not in the mood to find a new series right now.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed

You will be. You will be. He's only four shows in and has already found his stride.Jrecee wrote:Only watched the Colbert premiere so far, wasn't blown away.
A few friends and I popped some brewskis and had a FRIENDS mini-marathon, because we are very manly men comfortable in our own skin. After around four episodes and beverages in we came to a unanimous decision that Rachael is an insufferable person.
If Rachael was an actual person, even with her physical assets, none of us could see dating her for over a week. She is narcissistic, self centered, clingy, is a manipulator, a cheat, a liar, a flake, and she never shuts up her complain hole.
Then we all agreed we wouldn't date her if we were blind, but were split on if we'd date her (not like it would happen, just goofy conversation) if deaf. And then that turned into "would you date her if she was mute?".

Do you need to say anything more?
Nope.

Recently rewatched the entire series "Daria", save for the two made-for-TV movies (which aren't on Hulu yet).
Also just watched the latest episode of the TV series Scream, though it aired on MTV weeks ago (Hulu doesn't seem to do the next-day deal with this show).
I actually liked this, even more so than the original (shut up!). I guess because at the heart of it, many slashers, particularly Scream where the killer is never the same person in each entry, are whodunnits. And that, to me, makes Scream much better as a TV series where you get more time to get to know the characters, and learn more about them, become more attached to them, care when they die, and gasp if/when the character you didn't suspect turns out to be the killer. And like with the Saw films, the season finale set up the next season (it's already been renewed for a second season), and hopefully each season ups the ante as film-based sequels do.
That also got me thinking how there are other films out there that'd make awesome TV series. I mean, I could TOTALLY see Ryan Murphy and Brian Falchuk doing "Phantom of the Paradise" as an "American Horror Story" meets "Glee" kinda deal, in that "Phantom of the Paradise" is an AHS-style surreal horror story with venomous pitch-black humor, but also a musical with catchy musical numbers (yes I know "Glee" mostly does covers, STFU!). Like get Lea Michele as Phoenix and (possibly) Evan Peters as Winslow Leach (who in the original is a naive, idealistic milquetoast who ends up being a total Jekyll-and-Hyde case).

I have only seen a few episodes of Scream, but I like it.

Is this Scream Queens? I've only seen pictures for that, what's it about?noiseredux wrote:I have only seen a few episodes of Scream, but I like it.
I've been mainlining Person of Interest which is really innocuous and exactly what I was looking for. I tried watching Sense 8 and found it to be just so gross that I needed a palette cleanser and PoI was perfect for that. Light overarching plot over multiple eps and a case of the week, Jim Caviezel's char is pretty perfectly played and I like Michael Emerson from Lost.
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

no there's a Scream TV show based on the Wes Craven movies.
I have ep1 of Scream Queens on my DVR, though. It's been described as a cross between Mean Girls and Halloween. Plus it has Emma Roberts. So yeah, I'm interested.

I'm watching the Scream Queens pilot right now! It's really good, but not as good as Scream: The Series.noiseredux wrote:no there's a Scream TV show based on the Wes Craven movies.

Though it IS par for the course considering it's made by the same people that made Glee and AHS.
