I'm likewise interested to hear what's the buzz. Is K-mart going bankrupt again?
In any case, great score, simplehumor.

Probably. But right now it's just manifesting itself in the lack of any kind of game department, which is a real bummer, since the games were pretty much the sole reason I went into that store.

Does this apply to all K-marts nationwide?

Correct. Evidently each store has a unique timeline for exiting the gaming scene this year. Start hitting up your local stores, though. Look for yellow labels! I'm trying to hold out for 75%-ish off. This would be a good opportunity to grab hardware on the cheap - while supplies last!

Hahahahaha. "Nationwide." They retreated from this area a loooong time ago.

Hmm now that I think about it, I haven't seen a K-mart in years, we only have Targets and Walmarts.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Speaking of vanishing stores (i've never even been to a K-Mart), I was shocked to hear that a Funcoland still exists in Texas (Mesquite). I thought that they had been consumed by a black hole a long time ago.
Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
My guy hasn't been told they are selling the cabinets - he thinks they are repurposing them. I left my number if he hears otherwise :/

How odd. I thought Funcoland was swallowed up by gameplop.

Picked up a few things at the pawns the other day.

Darksiders-$5
Dead Rising Chop Till You Drop- $5
The God Father Limited Edition- $3
EA Replay- Traded for it
Planning to try out the Darksiders games this year already had both games on Steam for years but I've picked up both of them for 360 as well recently. I'm starting to drift more and more to just playing on consoles any more there are just to many distractions playing on PC so I've stuck to just using it for MP and exclusives over the past year.
I'm interested in trying out Chop Till You Drop. Although I didn't realize how close the port was to the original and how much they cut. Probably won't get around to it any time soon.
Was surprised to realize I have 4 copies of this now. Standard for the PS2/Xbox and Don's Edition on the PS3. It was cheap though and at least the bonus dvd might be interesting to watch whenever I get around to playing it.
EA Replay is one of the compilations I've been really meaning to pick up on the PSP so I'm happy to have it in my collection. Really nice variety of games on it. Includes Wing Commander + Secret Missions, Budokan, Mutant League Football, B.O.B., Road Rash I, II, and III, Haunting Staring Polterguy, Syndicate, Ultima The Black Gate, Desert Strike, Jungle Strike and Virtual Pool. While they may not the best versions of each game it's still cool that they crammed so many great titles on one umd.
