^right.
Ex Machina was like... I really liked it. But as time goes on I find I keep thinking about it. Like, I probably liked it even more than I first realized.
What was the last movie you've seen?

I also watched Ex Machina recently. I had just gotten out of the theater after seeing Annihilation (which is awesome btw) and I wanted to see more.
Overall, Ex Machina is a really fantastic movie except for one part I wish someone had warned me about.

^that scene was rough, and unexpected.
I'm really looking forward to Annihilation. It's one of my most anticipated films of the year.

Yeah, that scene stuck out to me because it doesn't make much sense unless you REALLY think about it and do your best to assign meaning to it. If it were in a novelization told from the viewpoint of the character, complete with internal narration, it would have worked much better.

"slow and weird" is exactly how I prefer my sci-fi.SamuraiMegas wrote:personally wasn't a fan, much too slow and much too weird for me. hope you like it though.noiseredux wrote:^that scene was rough, and unexpected.
