Yeah, it definitely won't run in Mame. So this one is only playable on JP/PAL ps2?dunpeal2064 wrote:Ill play Blue Hawk with ya Exed, as I wont be able to play Homura either, unless it runs in MAME.
I'll be perfectly happy to explain how to emulate PS2 to anyone interested. It's quite easy and very stable.dunpeal2064 wrote:Thats a bit of a bummer. Still, the rest of the year looks top notch, so not too big of a deal to miss on one month.
I wonder if my machine could handle it. If so, this could open up a whole world of madness!brunoafh wrote:I'll be perfectly happy to explain how to emulate PS2 to anyone interested. my PC couldn't handle it, though my specs kind of sec (check previously in this thread). I remember trying to play Ibara via emulation before I bought a real copy and it was constant slow-motion.dunpeal2064 wrote: I wonder if my machine could handle it. I'm pretty lacking in PC knowledge, so I don't know where to find my video card info.brunoafh wrote:Specs?dunpeal2064 wrote:I wonder if my machine could handle it.
Well damn! I knew Type X was designed on PC hardware, but I always figured if it worked, it would be integrated into Mame like STV, Neo Geo, and all that jazz. I'll have to look into this!DocHauser wrote:No need to emulate the PS2 to run Homura. Taito Type X games were designed on PC hardware...just google 'Taito Type X Loader' to see what comes up![]()
Taito Type X games I have on my laptop: Homura, Giga Wing Generations, Raiden IV, Chaos Breaker, Spica Adventure.
I usually advise people to run a DirectX diagnostic. Just bring up Windows search and type "dxdiag". Let it run and click the display tab at the top, important info will be the name and approx total memory.dunpeal2064 wrote:I'm pretty lacking in PC knowledge, so I don't know where to find my video card info.
