hey you didn't do too bad! i have some laserdiscs available right now also, next time you're in town lemme know and i'll hook you up.
I feel like i did ok too. got about 45-50% return on the value of the games I traded. Not too shabby for a trade in, especially since everything I traded in were doubles or games I didnt care about.
And I would definetily love to check out the LD! I am always on the look out for great movies to add to the collection.

While I was killing time in the local EB Games on my lunch break today, I spotted a used, complete copy of Kirby's Return to Dream Land on the Wii for 39.99. I never come across this game but it's way more than I'm comfortable spending on a used game from the previous gen, rare or not, so I passed.
On the way back to work I stopped in at a thrift joint and found a copy of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for $5.

Someone must have skipped over it thinking it was worthless because it was the only Wii game there. I don't play or collect DB games so I'm thinking I'm gonna bring it in to that EB tomorrow and see what I can get for trade value. Maybe I will get that Kirby game after all.

I consider myself fairly well versed in my knowledge of NES games but I'm not all that knowledgeable about pirate carts. Anybody have some obscure insight on this 260 in 1 (other than the game with boobies) that might make me consider it more than an interesting paperweight?

Looks like it includes a bunch of notable games(even if some are modified and have weird mislabings and changes), actually just looked it up and this popped up:

Just picked this up Saturday for $50.

Always a good deal at the arcade auction.

1. Is it working?
2. What's the story with the pile of Blasts behind it? Your garage or is that at the auction?

It's at a friends' place until I can pick it up.
But yeah, it is working. At least, it was at the auction. Even the sirens work. Of course, as a result of it working, I didn't notice the 8 Liner burn in on the monitor. Still, $50, I've spent a lot more on worse games.

This is going to sound crazy but I have to say it.
After several years in game collecting...after looking through many thrifts stores...I finally found a SNES in the wild.
I didn't buy it because I was out Christmas shopping and I already have one (and it was $25 at a Salvation Army). But I finally found something I've never seen. I do want to get another SNES to mod for imports.
I did find the crown Jewel to my Zelda collection. It was complete in box and in a nice condition. I only paid $0.49 for this cherry thatll be my cap for the series.
That game?
Link's Cross Bow Training.
