So what have you guys been watching lately?

Picked up the first season of Game of Thrones at the pawns today for $3 so I guess I'll give it a whirl.

Kind of fell off the wagon with Twin Peaks need to get back on it before I forget to much more. Otherwise I'll probably never go and finish it :P. Things were just getting a little slow with Season 2, but seemed like they were about to pick up again before I got distracted by other stuff.

So I just finished the last two episodes of AHS: Coven and now waiting for Freak Show to be on there. And speaking of Freak Show, I just LOVE Jessica Lange's cover of "Gods and Monsters" by Lana Del Ray (also love the LDR version, which I heard in a multifandom music video on YouTube).

Just watched the first episode of Wayward Pines and I'm hooked. So good! I read the end is a bit of a downer, but I don't care.

Yeah the end does suck a little, but a good series nonetheless.

Wayward Pines was so much better than I expected. I liked the ending.
I'm in the mood for more mystery stuff so I'm thinking of starting Twin Peaks or Life on Mars.
I want to watch Touch with the guy from 24, but my dad warned me to only watch the first season... I kinda want an ending to a show; If the 2nd season is that bad and it was cancelled without a resolution maybe I should stay away?

Can't recommend Twin Peaks enough.

Been watching obscene amounts of COPS and Forensic Files lately. COPS is pretty much always a good time, and I love the super dramatic narrator on FF.

My good friend "Paul, Paul, shirt too small" and I used to play a Cops drinking game that would leave us in stitches. I don't remember all the rules but:

Drink for every tattoo
Drink if someone is shirtless
Drink if someone resists and every time someone says "Stop resisting"
Drink if someone is missing teeth, or has damaged teeth
Drink for every censored word
Drink if someone is smoking or asks for a cigarette
Drink every time denies knowing anything
Drink whenever a woman cries
Drink whenever an officer finds drugs or booze
Drink every time someone says "the truth"
Chug during every foot pursuit
Chug full beer anytime a suspect's name is Nancy
Chug full beer if someone is naked

Needless to say, after a half hour of playing our game we were usually out of beer. The reason this game was so fun is because not only is the show great, and not only is Paul a hilarious guy, but you can't seem to keep up with the drinks. When you have a tattooed, shirtless, cigarette smoking dude, who is missing teeth yelling "Tell the truth!", you are in for some serious hurt.

I doubt he still has it, but Paul had a written list of rules.

Watched a few Columbo's while playing Clue last night with friends (I know. We're party animals). Watched one Columbo that starred Leonard Nimoy. Awesome stuff.

Defiance and J.A.G. mostly. Tried to get into Killjoys and Dark Matter, but they don't pull me in like Defiance does.

Recently bingewatched The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, which is from many of the people behind 30 Rock. It's nowhere near as funny as 30 Rock but it has its moments, but they're separated by shit.

Also about halfway, if not three-quarters through, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers' third season.

And subtitled Sailor Moon on Hulu.

Finished up True Detective S1, which was fantastic. The nudity and sex in this are completely unnecessary and mar what is otherwise some of the best TV I've ever seen. I'm 3 episodes in on S2 and it's also pretty great, not quite as good, but I have a feeling it's going to be quite epic by the end!
