That was my second thought - the house was built in the 30s, so more likely scared of the Jerries.
There is also a storm shelter that use to be a well. It looks like a dog house, but it is a concrete hole 10 feet straight down with a rope ladder and a kerosene lamp in it. If I was going to be like Fritzl thats where I would do it...I mean, never would I do that.

That is a good thought, I honestly did not think about that. if we get the house it will be used for wood storage.

That was my first thought, but there is a root cellar on the property and the basement of the house. The garage was built in the 70s (atleast the stone they used for the facade was popular then), and as you know few people put in root cellars after refrigeration came around. My wife thought it might ahve been where they stored milk overnight for early morning shipments, but then we foundout that where the pool is, there use to be a storage building with a loading dock.

Since Ack will be the most likely guest other than my parents, thats ok.

What games did you play man? I love finding an arcade.

Wait, you mean I might get my own house, haunted by the angry spirits of undead bovine?

Sign me up. This is happening. We're turning it into a horror film.

Anyone else watching the Simpsons marathon on FXX? They just aired "Flaming Moe's," one of my all time favorites featuring the scene that made me fall in love with the show as a kid

If we get the property and you want to move up here. You just have to pay a cut of utilities. You know the deal. But Xen might take it first.

Dumb: Forgot to roll up my car windows. Woke up at around 5am and it was raining cats and dogs. My recently purchased books now have more personality.

New couch delivered for the new game room/upstairs living room! Now the wife can read next to me or sling TV to her tablet while I hit some games in the evenings... little things in life :)

:x Reaching Ikea's customer service is nearly impossible.

18 minutes and counting. One day the line kept dropping whenever I was redirected. Another day was probably an even longer wait and had warnings about the wait beforehand, I think I just gave up that time.

UGH!!

EDIT: Oh... 30 minutes later... the department I need is CLOSED. I get to try again tomorrow.

Yay.

I wish to experience Ikea someday... I've heard so many varied tales about the place. Closest location to me is in Massachusetts.

My mother went once many years ago and all she brought home was... meatballs.
