Smile - Found a farm we can afford if we sell our house. Even better if we sell our house at the price I was quoted, or even 10k less, we could buy the farm and be debt free. It is a smaller house, but it has a three car garage, a four car garage, a hay/equipment barn, and a horse barn, fully fenced, has a creek, is just shy of 20 acres (perfect for a couple horses and goats), and has a fiber node for coax about a quarter of a mile away.

Ticked - It is 2/3s of the way to our old tiny house. So an hour to hour and a half each way to work.

Smile 2 - Have an interview for a new position where I can work from home 2-3 days a week later this week. If I get the job, we will most likely pull the trigger on the farm.

I don't care about that. I care about the legal name tied to my account.
Yea but a ton of people use their real names and things like that when signing up for steam. There's a petition somewhere to get them to allow login name changes going around on the internet somewhere.

No it is the school wide network it's a technical school so there's no dorms or anything to block. It might just be a temp thing I don't know. I didn't really want to push the IT guys for an answer as to why or see if I could get an exception since it was the first day and they had enough to deal with it seemed like. If it doesn't change I may just pay for a private VPN just so I can get around it.

seriously, thank you so much for this.

Don't mention it. Sorry for late reply, I was out of town.

:D - Wife's surgery went very well as far as we can tell for the moment. Nice clean job, staff was excellent, Doc was short on bedside conversation, big on skills.

:? - Still a week for pathology at post op. I am exhausted and my wife is completely run down. It's going to be a long couple of weeks.

:D - I don't care (about the tough weeks, still sweating pathology), because the surgery went well and Doc doesn't think there will be any real complications. He doesn't even anticipate bad pathology based on what he saw, even though he obviously won't rule it out. The relief when they had her call me from recovery and tell me to meet her in her room was indescribable. I could really feel the weight of it lifted. My wife is in as good of spirits as can be expected, and they let me stay with her in the hospital which initially was a "no". So, overall it has gone as good as we could have hoped up until this point. Thanks everyone who sent good wishes and messaged me on the board or privately with the support, it was very helpful.

So the school blocks steam, the client not the website, but we have our own steam server we just have to edit some system 32 file to be able to connect to it.

Smile: Insanely tough day at work but I made it through. Professionally speaking, feelin' good!

Frown: Got a gamecube game I ordered on ebay. The seller forgot to pack the disc. Meh. The way they packaged it, left me feed back, and the speed of the shipping leaves no doubt in my mind that this was an accident but I was definitely looking forward to doing some 'cube tonight. Oh well. Hopefully the seller makes with the solution so that I can still get my game and they can still get their positive feedback.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
