I think the PC version of All-Stars Transformed is the best all-round version, it certainly runs the best.

I recall it had some speed issues on Wii U sometimes ... but it wasn't as severe as LOD issues on PS3 when playing split screen.

I will say the gamepad steering for vehicle mode is not atrocious and was pretty fun to use. But when it came to plane mode it seemed like there was no way to actually control the vehicle any longer.

With some pro-controllers, I would imagine it's one of the better (or best) console versions of the game.

You can rest assured that there are no more good, complete, PSP games at any GameStop in the greater Charlotte metropolitan area. I saw to that personally... :lol:

(I am just kidding, of course. The Gamestop on South Blvd. has complete copies of Moster Hunter Freedom, Monster Hunter Freedom 2, and Riviera: The Promised Land, among others, and the Univeristy City store has a ton of complete games.)

I nabbed a near mint copy of the Zelda Collector's Edition for GC this week. It was part of a very nicely priced GC bundle on Kijij that I offered over asking price on. They wanted $50 for Zelda, Pikman and Luigi's Mansion as well as a boxed GC. Everything was near mint and complete. I offered $50 for just the games in order to seal the deal as I knew they'd obviously get numerous offers for asking price (or under) for the lot. I told them they could sell that boxed system for at least $20-$30 so they were very happy to take $50 for the games only. I even said I'd buy the GC if they couldn't find a buyer. Everyone wins!

I picked up a fat PS2 on a whim earlier today for $7 at Savers, mainly so I could use it as a parts system for my PS2 (the disc drive was almost totally fubared). Thankfully the disc drive on the parts system worked perfectly, so I swapped it into my PS2 and it's back to 100% now. Much better than trying to have the new system modchipped or buying a replacement drive (which are still surprisingly expensive online).

Probably not the most insane deal but I got megaman starforce 3 black ace(cib), trace memory(cb), eragon for psp, activision hits remixed, valhalla knights, and taito legends power up for $26. A little ashammed that I bought them without the artwork at least but that's what cover project is for...I'll eventually find the manuals though if i can help it :-\ (this gamestop probably had these games last I was there but I didn't see them since I was trying to be wise and do complete/artwork at least before buying it...

Been kinda broke this summer. I haven't gone much to do some game buying.

I had a spare $20 that I could waste. So I hit up the local flea market.

For being a slow tuesday I got some good things from various sellers.

Devilish JPN Game Gear $1.00

Pac-Man Collection GBA $3.00

Sony Memory Card Adapter $1.00 :mrgreen: yay!

Sega Saturn Controller $3.00

Sega Mastersystem/Genesis 1 RF cable $3.00

Sega Saturn Memory Cart $3.00 My first time owning an original one! :D

I think I did good for spending less than $20 dont you think?

Yeah you did good. Always need first party memory carts. Let me know if you want to trade that SS memory cart.

Why first party? My action replay has been holding nearly 20-year-old save files just fine.

You are very very lucky. Not sure about Saturn, but so many horror storys on AR memory cards, especially the older code entry Gamecube versions. I would not use an AR card other then the bootup requirement, even backed up the AR file to a regular 1st party card.
