it's ok for a free kart racer if all you have is a PS3. the track editor is the coolest thing about it. but, yeah, it's not that great.

As far as kart racers / Mario Kart clones, I'd rate it a lot higher than others. The actual racing aspect is decent, it controls good and all that. It's got the whole kart customization thing, just like how you can customize your Sackboy in the LBP games. Then the track creation is amazing. I spent hours building tracks, way more time then I spent racing. And being able to play other users' custom tracks adds to replay value. There's an endless amount of tracks, many of which are good. I played a Moo Moo Farms recreation, and even a Sonic Green Hill Zone inspired track.

It's no Mario Kart, but I feel like you can say that about almost every kart racing Mario Kart clone. I haven't touched LBP Karting since Mario Kart 8 came out.

I am not expecting much out of it (and since I only paid $2, it doesn't need to deliver much). My children loved watching me play the other LittleBigPlanet games, however, and I think they will like watching this one too. (I may even convince one of them to play it.) Honestly, if it just provides an excuse for my children to spend some time with me, it is well worth what I paid for it.

Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing is where it's at for Mario Kart clones. The racing is good, the tracks are very good, and there's unlockables you don't have to pay for! I think I actually like the first one better than the second.

I bought this for cheap a few weeks back. Updates of >1 GB before I could even play it. Then the load times were atrocious - even for the tutorial track. My daughters were asking "can't we just play it?" Great question - so I returned it. We'll stick to the platformer LBP games.

The most recent one is fantastic. I have it for the WiiU and it may be the most underrated game on the system.

Transformed is amazing, it was our most played Wii U game for a while. My wife and I would play together, one person on the TV, one on the game pad ( A feature that MK8 somehow left out) and play through the career mode. If I have one complaint, is that the game gets too hard when you start needing to beat everything on hard mode to keep progressing.

I know people don't like it's controls but I found dragons blade wrath of fire(wii) at gamestop for $3 while picking up a game for oxy :D (just wish I lived closer to prfsnl, supposedly he's got the bigger stores near him that they're shipping the psp games from that location too...they still had them but they weren't in the system so he couldn't let me touch them  )

Honestly Sega All Stars Racing is one of my favorite games on the 360. I bet it's awesome on the Wii-U; does it run at a 60FPS on the Wii-U? That was the noticeable difference I saw from the first to the second game on 360.
