:D - Honestly can't be pissed at this guy on ebay. I got notification that my traplight had shipped(yes it will have a dark spot in the middle but would be better than try to use gbc light which doesn't work unless I re-wire it basically), but haven't recieved it(they shipped it the 9th). Was about to ask about it and recieved a message from them saying he was checking in to why the scan had happened but no updates since then. So a little pissed at usps but at them nope.

 - still pissed at work especially since there's way too much micromanaging of the grocery department(doesn't help that the managers tend not to stay the 6 months or not long after if I'm correct in what I remember). But it probably also doesn't help that my assistant manager apparently did a hand-written schedule handed it to a manager who apparently didn't read it as well when putting it in for basically the past 2 weeks worth of schedules(though redeemed by having him fixed it but honestly not having enough people on certain nights piss me off when we really need another person or two)

 - Someone put a nice sharp ding with a paint scratch and all in the door of my cherry Taurus. No note for insurance or anything. Love it.

:| - I'm pretty sure I've done some stuff in my life worthy of that level or karmic revenge.

:!: - Karmic justice looks expensive. Anyone know what something like that runs? It isn't going to work with the dry ice trick, that is for sure. I guess I could live with a touch up pen for the scratch, but getting the dent/ding out is a must.

Best of luck.
Will be? More like might be or not at all. If its CVS the policy is to call corporate. They usual will only state that the person did indeed work there and was either terminated or quit. Nothing more and nothing less.

Guess it depends on your line of work then. I'd play it safe just in case.

Was no one else in the Long Island area affected by the rain?

I know there's not many users out on the Island, but I'm pretty sure we still have a few active NYC members. I have no idea of the exact areas the storm hit, but I was kinda expecting to see something on the forums about it (I searched quick and didn't see anything).

13 inches was reported by MacArthur Airport. This wasn't over the course of a week, or even days. This rain fell overnight, within a few hours. It fucked everything up on the Island, I don't know about the city and other places in the Tri-state area.

It took me an hour and a half to get to work this morning, and it normally takes me about 45 minutes, so it took double the amount of time. Luckily, my route to work wasn't closed, but because of the closures it was enough to massively fuck up my route. At one point, I spent 30 minutes in between two exits on the LIE.

I spoke with my brother and he didn't even go to work. He said he tried, but the roads were impassable. From where he was, on a normal day, he has about a 15 minute ride to work. All eastbound on the Sunrise. Some one posted a video of driving the wrong way on the Sunrise. They had traffic moving west on the eastbound side of Sunrise, and eastbound traffic was going east on the service roads.

My job flooded. There's storm drains by the back shipping and receiving doors. The water came in there and flooded the warehouse, went under the walls and soaked the carpets in the hallways on the other side. Water went down another hallway and went into the lab. So... It was kinda mayhem there today. There's a project going on right now, and I've been kinda beat from that, so the flood on top of it really sucked.

News 12 had a bunch of videos up that people took. I watched a few of them. Cars floating around, the street in front of some ones house was a raging river, people in rafts in their front yards, and one person had a video of water rushing into their house from the cracks of their front door. Crazy to think that this all happened from ONE relatively short rainfall.

By midday the sun was out and everything was drying out. But just as I was getting ready to leave from work it started pouring. I was thinking, HOW could there possibly be any more rain!?!?! So my drive home was no fun at all. There was a good stretch of the LIE that traffic was doing 30-40MPH just because it was raining so hard you could barely see a car's length in front of you.

Ugh, so my day week has been fun.

Why is it a must? How is your vehicles ability to transport you and cargo from point A to point B impaired?

Yeesh that sucks Ziggy. Reminds me of the fun when Allison parked on top of Houston. I lived right next to a bayou at the time.

Nope, but my vehicles ability to look nice is impaired. I'm a little vain I guess. Perhaps it isn't a "must" but it will bug the hell out of me until it is fixed. My feet can still get me from point a to point b if they are dirty, yet I choose to wash them. Nonsense, I know.

You wash your feet so you don't get dirt on the carpet, which makes it feel icky to stand on it with no socks on.
