I stopped by The Grid this morning and grabbed:

Adventure Island (GB) - $3
Bust-a-Move Millenium (GBC) - $3
True Pinball (PS1) - $3
Deathrow (XBOX; CIB) - $8
Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance (XBOX; CIB) - $4
Silent Scope Complete (XBOX; CIB) - $5

I think that its prices have come down a bit recently - they were a bit high when the store first opened - and that is most certainly a welcome development.

.....

I then stopped by a nearby GameStop and picked up:

7 Wonders of the Ancient World (PSP; CIB) - $2.75
Gunpey (PSP; CIB) - $2.75
Luxor: Wrath of Set (PSP; CIB) - $2.75
Worms: Open Warfare (PSP; CIB) - $2.75
Star Trek Conquest (WII; CIB) - $4.5

I was very pleased - and surprised - by the Gamestop's PSP selection. Star Trek Conquest is also an uncommon Wii game published by Bethesda Softworks.

Those aren't bad prices at all.

The store uses videogamepricecharts.com to price its games; so, I always get a pretty fair deal there.

No. I posted a review of the ColecoVision Flashback with games list, see the link in my previous Reply.

Nice finds, surprised at the cheap prices at that Grid store! Clean them out before the resellers that charge high prices grab the good stuff!

I saw that Wii Star Trek Conquest game at only one Gamestop location and passed up on it. Already have it on the PS2, unsure if the Wii version has any enhancements. I can see the Wiimote beneficial as a cursor movement during the strategy session, but then the Twinshock might be better during the actual combat between ships.

That's why I like the store. The prices are good, but they are not so good that a reseller could make any money trying to flip games purchased there. (That was not always the case, however, and I picked up some amazing deals there when the store was in a shady part of town and before it started using videogamepricecharts.com to price its games.)

The store was also featured on IGN yesterday; so, I expect it will see some increased traffic. (Anyone who learned about the store from IGN probably isn't looking gfor the same game I am, however. )

.....

That reminds me of a (short and pointless) story:

I was visiting a local video game store, and a young man was also perusing the racks with several of his friends. Every few minutes, the young man would loudly exclaim something like, "OH MY GOD! THEY HAVE SUPER MARIO WORLD!" and "CAN YOU BELEIVE THEY HAVE AN ORIGINAL COPY OF SONIC THE HEDGEHOG!" It was incredibly, incredibly annoying, and I equated his exclamation with an idiot wandering through a grocery store and being shocked that it had items like canned beans and cereal. "OH MY GOD! THEY HAVE NAVY BEANS!" "CAN YOU BELIEVE THERE ARE CORN FLAKES HERE!" I went to the store months ago, and I am still bopthered by that annoying young man. I suppose that fact is a testament to his almost superhuman power to annoy.

Did he buy anything? I find people that do that sort of thing once or twice in a store might buy something, but if they keep doing it every few minutes, they don't buy crap. It happened pretty often while selling stuff at the anime store and especially at conventions.

I bought a few things. I did not buy nearly as much as I would have if I had had the opportunity to peruse the store without its most annoying customer. (I have no idea whether he or his friends actually bought anything, but I suspect that they did not.)

Got Portal 2 for PS3 for ten bucks, cheapest I have seen it as of yet. There was a Steam code in it for a copy of the game. Since the game was used I do not know if it is any good or not. I also DO NOT need it as I have it over there already.

If someone wants to try the code PM me and it is yours.....all you have to do is let me know if it worked. Cross your fingers!
