Frown: Next Tomb Raider is an Xbox exclusive. There's enough shooting that playing it on a dual analog setup will be a slog, so I'll wait and hope it's only a timed exclusive (as most things were) and play it when it comes to PC.

I'm not a fan of passing judgment on those who have passed away. No matter the cause or your beliefs they have already ultimately paid whatever price for their misgivings. It is just poor taste to run them down further.

My best friend from middle/high school tried to commit suicide at 19 and it really hit me hard, so naturally I was pissed with him (after he was recovered), but eventually I had to try and understand and forgive because a lot of people just aren't in their right mind and can't see that it is a "selfish" decision. I talked with him a lot about it and he always said "I thought I was doing people a favor." I'm not saying I agree with that, but it is what it is. Sadly, our friendship didn't really survive it.

Yes, there's a thought in your head that tells you that everyone would be happier if you were dead.

those of you talking about suicide being cowardly or selfish can invite yourselves to shut the fuck up at any time. you have literally no idea what you're talking about. i'm not going to discuss this on this forum because i doubt i will be able to reign it in.

I try to reign it in...but it is tough.

Ditch that kb/m and grab a controller baby! :P. We're opposites when it comes to that though, so I'm perfectly ok with the exclusive.

I'm always trying to make the people around me laugh. I think Williams's death demonstrates that sometimes smiles mask a deep-rooted depression.
Same here, though I have an anxiety disorder which causes my periods of depression and have sought counseling and used medication at times in the past. So now I have an easier time of recognizing my symptoms and understanding what is going on in my brain. Humor is a coping method, and I've forced myself to be more willing and able to open myself up to people through the years, mainly by making them laugh. I've told people before that I suffered from depression, folks that had known me for years, and they were shocked by the admission because I was always making jokes and laughing.
Well hey there, fellow travelers.

BogusMeatFactory wrote::( So it was raining a bunch yesterday and my wife and I decided we wanted to go grocery shopping, because our carpets were recently cleaned and the floors hadn't dried yet and we wanted some outside activities to pass the time.

Bad Idea. Flash floods swept Michigan. We were sitting at a light and, by the time it turned green we were sitting in about 6-10 inches of water. Our journey home was treacherous as we decided to just forget about it as we were driving through enormous pools. We saw numerous cars disabled and stuck in the water. Some expressways near Detroit had 12 feet of water with images of the water line hitting the overpasses. It was insane.

I know it rained all day, but I had no idea we got that amount of rain. The pictures of I-75 in the paper this morning were crazy.

Yeah my wife and I were like, "Yeah it has just been raining..no big deal," and then BOOM! Water everywhere. They really meant it when they say flash floods.
