here's my buddy david playing a game:

Now that is dedication, jumping into the game before cleaning off the entire glass. :D

When are you putting up the sign "Aaron Arcade Palace"?

Thanks for all the responses concerning Prince Persia, may have to jump on it.

Yeah just note that my decision on it is that the ps2 game was a goodwill find at goodwill for probably $2 or .99(some really decent ps2 games have started popping up...now if only some other systems would and some of the ones that do they'd be something other than sports games....looking at you ps3 ha ha)

I went to this small flea market and a couple of old people told me that she had old video games at her house and that she would bring it next week, they gave me their card so I'm going to be calling them. I pretty much told them that I wanted to meet at their house instead of trying to buy it there because one of the vendors will buy it and they said that's fine, just call. They said they had "old Nintendo games, I have at least one system, my kids had more from when they were younger".

Holding out hope here, any other time I try to contact these types of people or I leave my number, I never hear from them again. There's a lady who buys everything up there video game related, I always see her there. She sells at an antique mall down the road so I'm hoping that she doesn't scavenge everything first. :?

Wish me luck!

Video game pick ups... I found Steel Empire CIB for $5 yesterday. I don't care for it.

I really hope they call you back. I've almost lost all hope of ever getting a call back from anyone concerning games. I must have given my number/email out to dozens of prospects over the last couple of years and received 0 call backs or emails to this date.

Pretty much paid 'full price' for these but saved a few bucks on a couple of them:

Genesis

Zero Tolerance CIB
Mickey's Ultimate Challenge CIB
Muhammad Ali Heavyweight Boxing CIB
Separation Anxiety CIB
Bonanza Brothers CIB
Captain America & The Avengers CIB

Sucker for CIB, though I actually passed on Batman Forever for $7 because I was already going a little overboard for a random weekday haha. At the same time I couldn't pass up the likes of Muhammad Ali and Mickey. When it's a game I just never ever see I have to buy it even though it's a mediocre/inexpensive title. Cap & The Avengers was a prime target from my childhood collection so I was thrilled to get it.

Someone contacted me through Craigslist and said that they had a bunch of games for the NES. When all was said and done, I paid $2.50 per game!

Wowie wow.

I found an empty Pokemon Platinum box but it had something other than the game on the inside above where the game card usually goes. What is this thing? A memory card of some kind? I haven't played any of the Pokemon games and I've read a PDF of the manual and searched a few places and I have no idea what this is.
