I think we can all agree that the only good retro store is the Racketboy BST Marketplace.

Since you've been there can you answer this. How does the whole test out a game thing work?Jmustang1968 wrote:Play n trades are horrible and GS employee quality varies by location.

My local store at the time did not have a huge selection...but the prices were great. (Most games were between $1 and $5.) I also recall the time-period distinctly because: (1) I was in law school, and (2) I grabbed the games from the GameStop near my girlfirend's (now wife's) house.dsheinem wrote:wow, really? No GS i've ever been in had more than one generation back.prfsnl_gmr wrote:This is true. It was during the tail end of the Ps2/Gamecube/Xbox era that they stopped carrying retro stuff.

Oh. Thanks. I was wondering if it was just a gimmick to get people in the store.Jmustang1968 wrote:I dont recall, I think the prices were all so high I didnt buy anythingoxymoron wrote:Since you've been there can you answer this. I will always remember them for being the only chain I can remember carrying used PC games.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Electronics Boutique was the shit. Isn't that what eventually (d)evolved into GameStop?
