Milestone 2 I personally like - but I think only one other person in this thread suggested it other than you, and while I like it...yes, I personally have (most) of the arcade versions but even if I didn't, again, i'd grab the DC version over these. If others feel differently i'll gladly add it - go recruit some more squeaky wheels.

Dead Space - i'm just going off discussions - it was mentioned a ton. I have no idea about other ports.
Only two people argued for Dead Space Extraction. One of them said they did so only because they thought the PSN version would be gone soon (though the game is on the disc for DS2:CE, I believe). Not sure how that's a "ton" of support. A lot of people mentioned it in general as a Wii light gun game or a game they had no thoughts on.

That said, I'll acquiesce on the Milestone Collection 2 I suppose. I am not trying to drum up votes, as this isn't a SOTM voting thread

Muremasa - enough folks said they would still pick the Wii console option over the Vita on TV option, so again, just going with majority.
you're killin' me

For Muramasa: irixith, foxhound, mjmjr25, Bone,
Against Muramasa: dsheinem, jmbarnes101, Exhuminator, alinejesus
Unsure or Indifferent: CFFJR, Blu, prfsnl_gmr, Michi, ejamer

most of the "indifferent" folks basically said "yes, unless it gets an HD port" or "yes, unless it gets a better port that can be played on a big TV". It has this port they are looking for. Looking back, it also seemed to be the case that the people who voted against the game on the Wii spent time with BOTH the Wii and the Vita port, most the people on the Yes list played only the Wii version. Ditch it!

I'm sure that's true for you and the other 3 people that own those highly compatible Vita emulators. And... considering the immense popularity the Vita platform has... I'm confident that Muramasa will be known primarily as a Wii game 10 years from now anyway.
I don't have Vita TV.

We're talking about a community of people here who collect for the Atari Jaguar and the 3DO. I am pretty sure people will know the Vita exists and that, amongst its strong titles, is an upgraded version of Muramasa.
I'm also not sure if it's been pointed out that Milestone Shooting Collection has a 360 version with more modes. (It's called "Sakura Flamingo Archives".) I have no experience with either, but I'm guessing the Xbox version would be technically superior. It would be more likely to be found in an American's 360 J-shmup collection than an American's normal Wii collection IMO.
It has problems. PLSREAD

Well, the Vita doesn't have a library that would sway me enough to warrant the purchase of one, especially to rebuy a title I currently own; so pass.

Muramasa will be on my shelf, games like Xenoblade will not.

That's not a legitimate argument about whether the game is better on the Wii or Vita.

You may as well say "the 2600 version of Centipede is better than the 7800 version because I don't want to buy a 7800 since it has a small library".

I thought that the HD games were just Budokai and Budokai 3. If I am correct, then the later-released Budokai Tenkaichi games might hold up since they contain additional characters, different content, etc.
There is an Ultimate Tenkaichi on PS3/360, but I haven't played it. I did play Raging Blast 2, and it just didn't strike the same chord with me. IDK why, but I just remember not enjoying it.

Is this accurate - meaning did you go through the thread just now? If you did, i'll agree and remove it because I don't have 20 mins to read through this all again. I swore it was on a lot of lists and mentions early in the thread.

I did a search for the thread title and "extraction". Lots of mentions as "no opinion" or "didn't play" or "oh yeah the Wii has a lot of great Light Gun games like Extraction, HOTD, etc.". I saw two people clearly advocate for its inclusion, and one of them under a misconception about the availability of the competing port.

It is possible I missed someone, but I doubt I missed two people or more.

I just saw this shmupgate... first off Ikaruga is overrated. Chaos Field is better, which is on Milestone, I'll give you that. But the other 2 games suck on Milestone. But Chaos Field was a GCN game in the US, so we can consider it as such... but... Best GCN shmup is Shikigami No Shiru II... though as a JPN exclusive I'm not sure it's all that associated w/ the system. It's probably more thought of w/ PS2 and DC (though DC was JPN-only as well...).

The version I am advocating for has five total games. Chaos Field, Radigry, Radigry Noa, Karous, and the nutso Ilvielo.
