Oh wow I try to keep up with the compilations and had never heard of that PlayStation Network one. Looks pretty neat, I love Fat Princess.

Re: Games Acquired 2014
Yeah, my largest single-game purchase ever.
I also own the Japanese version of Panzer Dragoon Saga (Azel: Panzer Dragoon RPG), that's held me over for years.
Lucienne's Quest is an awesome game and one I hope to get someday. It was made by Micro Cabin which is probably my second favorite developer after Falcom. They are also responsible for Guardian War, which you should also check out on 3DO. It's a strategy RPG and thankfully costs only about 1/10th of what Lucienne's Quest typically runs. The Xak series (Super Famicom, PC Engine CD, lots of Japanese computers) is also a phenomenal set of action-RPGs. None are in English, but I feel like they'd be playable even to someone who doesn't know Japanese.

Re: Games Acquired 2014
What the heck prices included since I started keeping track of that, excluding shipping.
Batsugun - Saturn - $100
Batman Arkham Asylum - 360 - $0
Dante's Inferno - 360 - $0
Full Auto - 360 - $0
Ninja Gaiden II - 360 - $0
Kim Possible What's the Switch - art and manual - PS2 - $2.88
GG Aleste II - complete - Game Gear (J)- $43
76 in 1 bootleg - cart - Famicom - $4
Zelda Outlands - rom hack cart - NES - trade
Trouble Shooter - manual - Genesis - $17.99
Llamarama: The Llamasoft Collection - PC - $9.99
A buddy gave me some old 360 games, so those were all free. The Kim Possible bits complete a free disc I got when invading the northeast last fall. I already had an empty case to put them in. Yes that's a bit of a pile for the TS manual, but I got the cart for $5 a while back so I'm still ahead of the curve. I'll just get art printed at some point to sort of complete it.

PS3
Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction - $7.97 - CIB - Regular Case / GH Disk
PS1
Trasher Skate and Destroy - $1 - No Manual
Soul Reaver: Legacy of Kain - $4 - Complete
Honestly, Thrasher is one of my favorite skating games of all time. The soundtrack is awesome and the physics are the most realistic of pretty much any skating game I've played. You can't string together ten million trick like in the TH games and to a lesser extent the Skate games. The Skate series is obviously better than Thrasher, but Thrasher has its own charm once you learn the controls.

That one's on my list too, one day.
Ah, see, I've always wanted to play the Xak games, but the language barrier scared me off. Its encouraging to hear they'd be playable anyway, so I'll probably give them a shot now. Thanks!BoneSnapDeez wrote:Lucienne's Quest is an awesome game and one I hope to get someday. It was made by Micro Cabin which is probably my second favorite developer after Falcom. I'm really excited to try out Lucienne's Quest soon, and I'll check out Guardian War too now that I know about it.

The only reason I found out about it was because it showed up on the Amazon front page under that "other things you might be interested in" section.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Oh wow I try to keep up with the compilations and had never heard of that PlayStation Network one. The only downside is I'm pretty sure you have to install all the games to the hard drive to play them. So depending on how much free space you have I guess that could be a deal breaker for some.
Re: Games Acquired 2014
Finally found a copy of Tales of the Abyss on 3DS. Happy about that as I'd not seen it in my area for a while. I'm having a heck of a time tracking down a physical copy of Bravely Default Flying Fairy at the moment, though. That thing is still scarce around here. The same thing happened with Fire Emblem Awakening when it first released, so I'm hoping it's just a matter of patience before stocks of the game become a bit more ample.

*NEW* The Magic of Scheherazade (NES)
I found another new retro store, and more good pickups. I've been looking for Scheherazade for quite some time, now I hope Together RPG will play it eventually
