The best thing about Vinyl to me is the artwork on the covers.

The best part for me is the music . Its kinda like putting a genesis game into the console. The popping noise and the other sounds are just magical, not to mention bass solos are just better on vinyl, with Head East's Never Been any Reason and Fleetwood Mac's The Chain being my favorites.

That is one of the thing I like most about Vinyl imperfection is beautiful :). It's kind of like older movies sure the lighting, acting, and effects weren't perfect but they had that nice vibe that you were watching a movie. Now everything has to be ultra realistic and that turns me off pretty often.

Again...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

My records don't pop, skip, or have scratches. They sound beautiful.

It's about the collection of music, not the nostalgia of it.

Well what I mean is the music has more character it's not something that was edited a hundred times over and digitally enhanced to "perfection". It's more about how the music was recorded to me then the wear and tear that happened to the disc over the years.

That's what I was getting at. There is definitely something lost when you scoll through an ipod and pick a song vs listening to vinyl

Vinyl was already outdated way before I was born. But they still sell them in our capital, along with CD's. It's a nice market for it here.
I don't have any, I don't even have a vinyl player. But music is music, and if I did have a good vinyl, I'd rock it any day.

I'm a music junkie. Like a heroine addict, I dedicate my day to the ritual. I set up shop, pick a place on the couch, juice up the music, and devote the next hour or so in bliss.

I don't play cards, I don't read a book, my mind barely wanders. I'm listening to a full album to enjoy the full album. I know you can listen to a full album on an ipod, but rarely do people do so.

There's something about placing that record on the turntable, amping up the stereo, and then spending the next hour listening. It's your own private concert.
